Expired PR Visa...should I come in on ETA ?

Hi,

My husband is Australian citizen and I (Norwegian) used to hold an Australian permanent residency visa. We have been living outside of Australia for 10 years now. My last RRV expired June 2013. We are going to Australia this May for a 2 week holiday...should I just apply for a ETA?

Also, the ETA has a section asking if I have a valid visa. I'm assuming my PR status is no longer valid, as I've been living overseas so long. Should I add anything in this section or just leave it blank?

Any advise would be very appreciated.

Your PR could still be valid, although the travel facility has expired. A tourist visa will supersede the existing visa, but an ETA should not.

Thanks for your response! I would need to apply for a eVisitor (subclass 651), as I am Norwegian and not eligible for ETA. Just confirming this isn't considered a tourist visa?
