S501 Notice of Intention to Refuse Application

It would be great to hear from people who may have faced this? It is sent when you fail character requirements.

My husband has a substantial criminal record so we are expecting this at some point and it would be handy to hear some experiences.

Thanks to all the people who have contacted me with advice. I am well versed with the requirements for DIAC and know we will recieve the S501. I have a migration agent who has assisted us through the process so far and will be assisting us. I am rwally just wanting to talk to people who have had the S501 issued to see if they were successful or not in getting their visa granted. There are no threads about it on here and I cant find any personal experiences accounted anywhere! So maybe theres not many people who went ahead and applied despite the complications. For us its all we want and we will fight until its ours but not everybody sees the same value in the chalkenge.
