Yes, the forms change regularly, unfortunately. It depends, though, on whether there are critical changes to the forms or not as to whether they'd make you redo them if you submitted the old version. I'll see what I can find out for you.

Unfortunately all the partner-visa-related forms (except Form 80, thankfully) have essential changes, so yes, you'll have to redo all of them - and your family/friends will have to redo the Form 888 (assuming there's no way you can apply before July 1).

Expected Summary of Change – May 2013

Any forms with "non-essential" won't have to be redone, but all marked "essential" will.

I looked at the link and the format says hard copy (not hard copy to PDF or PDF) for most of the partner visa forms not the booklet. Does that mean the PDF won't change?

That's a good question. I think it just means that's the way you submit it. With the partner visa forms, you have to print it out and submit a hard copy - you can't just submit an online version. I would assume this is going to apply to the partner visa forms, period.

Thanks, CollegeGirl.
We've been getting things together to apply in July. It'd be nice if the new forms were online now so we could get them done and not have to ask people to redo form 888.

Yeah, agreed. You can always call or email the embassy and just make sure I'm right about having to redo them! I think I am... but you never know. I'd love to be wrong. It's a lot of trouble to get people to redo Form 888.
