Living in Australia

Hello,
As i await my visa, I have concluded plans to travel two months before the start date of my university in Australia. Please, what are the possibilities of finding a work before my start date?

Regards,

That will depend on a lot of things including where you will be living and what experience you have.

Australia currently has 173,000 long term unemployed people (those unemployed for over 12 months).

Total unemployment is about 739,000.

So it really does depend on each individuals ability, skill and employability.

Very few jobs to just walk into without experience or contacts.

It is all the luck of the draw, based on other applicants etc. However, there are alot of employers that don't want to employ student visa holders, so be prepared that you may not get the first job you apply for.

Hello,
What is the likelihood of getting a work with a student visa in Adelaide two months before my start date. And how are the accommodation and general living expenses there.
Regards.
