Question 2nd WHV has expired 3 months and want to get back into Oz on a WHV... PLEASE HELP!!!

hello

So I came back to Ireland over a year ago due to health reasons and now I really want to go back to australia. My 2nd WHV has expired since march 24th 2013. I have asked the government, i understand i have not entered australia prior to the 24th of march, but would they consider accepting renewing my second year visa. i would pay any extra cost or also am willing to be docked 3 months of the 12 month visa if needs be too. they are not responding to my emails.

I really want to go back to oz on the 2nd year visa and from that actively seek work that will sponsor me to stay. it really is not to go back and enjoy myself with parties for another year. i really do want to migrate. I just could not afford to go back at the time to support me proper when i go over and also was getting over my unfitness of why i had to leave in the first place.

can anyone please give me advice on my situation?

on another note why i wanna go back, i left 'the one' behind also. he is over there working away. he only told me last christmas he still has feelings for me. we are in constant contact and my heart breaks because i really want to go back and give both australia and ryan a go. my whole life could be mapped out over there. ireland is not good at moment with recession. i am sorry for giving ye all a sob story but i guess i just want ye to see, it is for a good reason i really want to go back.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi IrishGal,

Unfortunately they are absolutely completely stringent about the initial entry dates. Once they are assigned, there's no going back, and if you miss them... that's it. It might not hurt to shoot an e-mail to a MARA-registered migration agent (Mark Northam and Chris Evans, both of whom post on this forum, are good ones) to just ask if there's any chance at all of your visa being reissued... but I think your chances are pretty much zero. You may need to think about what other visas you may qualify for.

If it wont scare "the one" too much, go for a prospective marriage visa. Or a student visa? Or save your pennies and get a tourist visa. If you're lucky enough to have one granted without a no further stay condition you can apply for other visas onshore.

What about education/work...do you qualify for a skilled visa?

Its pretty unlikley that you will get any mre time on WHV.
