We never broke up and are definitely planning on staying together long term. Should I include this information? I ask because I am submitting bank records that will include the charge to our therapist. It's not obvious what the charge is and the case worker would have to google to figure it out. Part of me doesn't want to draw attention to it in case it makes it seem our relationship is having issues / may not be long term (not the case at all) but also don't want to look like I am hiding anything. The last question on the online app asks about how the relationship has developed so I thought about writing something like "to prepare for marriage, ___ and I have been seeing a therapist fine tune our communication skills" Any advice?
It seems people assume couples therapy is for couples struggling with their relationship, but I thought it was a good thing for healthy couples too... just as you are using it to better your communication skills with each other. I believe couples therapy has been recommended for couples about to go through major life changes as well, to prepare for things like marriage or having a child.

I think if you mention it as it is without being defensive that it is not because of relationship issues, you'll be alright.

Anywhere from about 11 months to 2 years. 6 to 8 months is long gone. There seems to be alot around 11 to 13 months but then also alot waiting over 15 months too. It is all the luck of the draw really.

They seem to be processing around March to May 2016 applications at the moment. I have seen a March 2016 and April 2016 application approved last week.

At I guess I would say that it started being more than 8 or 9 months about June 2015 eligibility dates.

Interesting enough they don't include the 6 to 8 months on the emails they send out 2 months prior now.
