Hi fellows,
is it still possible to regularly update your evidences list, I read somewhere that there is a new changes to the partner and PMV visas that might prevent you from doing so.
thanks in advance.

No that has not been any changes with that, the change that you might be thinking of is that you must include all your evidence straight away not wait months to attach it.

It is actually better to keep adding new evidence IMO during the process as it shows the case officer that you are still continuing at the time that they grant the visa vs 12 months earlier. When my husband's visa was granted the latest lot of evidence was only uploaded about 2 weeks prior - I uploaded updated evidence every 3 months for the first 6 months and then monthly after that and it always included joint bank accounts and joint bills at a minimum.

From Temporary to Permanent Visa Online

Hi there,

I am sorry if this question has been asked before in this forum but unfortunately I cannot find it. My eligibility date for a Permanent Partner Visa 801 started a month ago on the 15th of October 2017 (exactly 2 years from lodging my application on-line), but I didn't receive any mail by the post or any message on my on-line immi account from the Department of Immigration. I was reading that I can submit documents for my Permanent Partner Visa on-line. Though when I go to my immi account on-line, I can see only info about my Temporary Partner Visa. Does it mean that I should click "New Application" and then I will be able to open a new application for my Permanent Partner Visa? Or is there another way of starting my Permanent Partner Visa Application? I don't want to make a wrong move on my immi account that is why I am asking here in case anyone knows anything. I would be grateful for your help.

DIBP don't send email reminders anymore.

You go to immiaccount and create a new application. You are looking for the partner one that says stage 2.

Don't forget to apply for you AFP and have the sponsor complete the sponsors stat dec.

I have been following the forum for quite a bit now, but never posted anything, I was always reading the good experiences of some people and the not so good experiences from some people as well, and always wondering what if, I didn't do it that way, oh I missed doing that, I should have done that as well and so on...anyway always happy to see posts of people being approved it gave me a little bit of relief, finally it's my turn to say my 801 has been approved, I was absolutely shocked because I wasn't expecting to be this soon, as per the immigration website states that the processing times are from 16 to 22 months and here the majority of people has been waiting around that time to get approved, I applied for the 820 on Nov 2014 it was approved on March 2016 and my eligibility date to apply for the 801 was on Nov 2016, I applied for the 801 on the 22 Nov 2016 so it took less than 12 months, didn't use an agent at all, never was contacted by immigration, only uploaded the documentation requested by immi when they sent the email to apply for the 801, never uploaded more docs until last month that I added the tax return declaration showing my partners name and my new NSW id card and my partner's new drive licence (both with the samw address) and that's it I guess... all this process has been a roller coaster, it's not easy but it's worth it, I have a mix of feelings at the moment but I think it is totally normal when you finally take off that height out of your shoulders, for the people that still waiting don't give up and don't get over stress and try to keep going without thinking too much about it, I really hope that all get approved soon...

congrats mate! can i check when u checked ur online immi..did you see you had a case officer assigned to you ever before you got your 801 approved?

I didn't expect anything until early next year and I also thought we would have to send in more evidence.

Been a long 3 year process, so glad this is over!

These are my dates:
Online - No agent
Applied 26th Nov 2014
820 Granted 12th Feb 2016
801 Applied 11th Dec 2016
801 Granted 10th Nov 2017

congrats to you as well! can i check which country are u from? also did you ever gonna a case officer assigned?

I submitted on 18th dec 2016 and in my immi acct showing this " This application has been received by the department but has not been assigned for assessment. The department may contact the applicant once assessment of your application begins if further information is required."

so i am curious...for those whose 801 approved..did u guys clear this 1st stage of "assigned" or just unexpectedly realized your 801 approved?
