Actually someone has gone and messed up the grant dates and eligibility date ... I know this for a fact because my husband's one is totally wrong.

Just to let you all know that the 801 spreadsheet has been taken offline until I have time to fix it all up.

I have found that in the 2017 grant that someone has:
- changed the eligibility date of people
- change the visa grant date of people
- moved all the grant dates around (they were in order of date granted)

At this stage, I do not know if the spreadsheet will be able to be fixed up.

I am sorry but the person who changed everything has ruined for for everyone.

Aw, that stinks Thanks for checking and keeping the sheet up to date, Mish. It must be a pain!

Edit: We most have responded around the same time. That's really odd, I'm guessing it was done on accident...but what a strange edit to make!

Whoever has done it has moved 2 columns but unfortunately it looks like it cannot be fixed without contacting people to find out what their dates were and also there are people with no forums names so they are not able to be contacted at all.

Anyone who is still waiting for their grant will need to check if their details are still in the spreadsheet as I had to restore the spreadsheet back quite awhile.

Those that have been granted will need to see if their details are recorded as well.

Hi again guys,

I just logged into my immi account and checked the attachments page, because with all the new changes I've been really paranoid about my previous uploads "not being there", as I know there's been cases of people noting some uploads have been missing from their attachments page...and I noticed that my partner's stat dec wasn't there! I checked my attachments and the sponsor's attachments and I'm freaking out at the moment.

Was it part of the application itself? I checked the application and there was nothing to indicate that it was. I re-uploaded just in case and wrote RE UPLOAD in giant letters. The stat dec is dated and certified as being from early last month.

I don't think it matters when it was witnessed as long as it wasn't 6 months before the eligibility date as they want the sponsor to say you are still together at the eligibility date.

ah, yes Mish, I added that tidbit to explain that there is proof that the stat dec was written on or around my eligibility despite me potentially uploading it late.

I put in my 801 on 19 Oct. I just checked immi in light of the changes to make sure all my documents were still uploaded, and I couldn't find the sponsor stat dec. despite uploading my 888's and all my sponsors personal documents (passport, police check, financial capacity etc.)

I was just wondering if the partner stat dec was uploaded some point during the application and that was the reason I couldn't find it?

801 question?

Hi, I'm confused about whether we need to lodge a separate application for an 801, or whether it is already applied for *automatically* when lodging the 820/801. I assume the latter in our situation.

I note a lot of people lodge a second application for the 801, but our paperwork seems to suggest we don't need to:

- Married in Australia October, 2015
- Applied 820/801 November 30, 2015
- Granted 820 on July 12, 2017
- Eligible for 801 from November 30, 2017 (yesterday)

On the 820 it says:

Quote:
"You have been granted an Australian visa. You must maintain your visa status to remain lawfully in Australia. You have been granted a temporary visa and will become eligible for consideration for the grant of a permanent visa, generally two years after the lodgement date of combined application. You do not need to make another application for the permanent visa. Shortly before that date, we will write to you and invite you to provide further information."
I rang an Immi officer today to ask about progress, as yesterday is the two years anniversary of our initial 820/801 application. He didn't want to look at our application whatsoever, seemed in a hurry to fob me off but said I need to make a new application for an 801. I said I thought our application already covered that, and he said no I need to apply. This runs contrary to everything I've read on *our* particular application process, as in the above quote from our 820 grant letter.

Can anyone advise me on what we need to do - ie. wait for 801 to be approved without a further application, OR lodge a further 801 application?

Appreciate any advice.
