My husband got the email in March 2016 and it said the same timeframe and he has been waiting over 11 months now. I know of someone who got the email in February 2017 and they did not have the 6 to 8 months in the email.

It's not been 6-8 months for a couple years now, they've just just not updated the emails.

Many Australian citizens wish they didn't have to vote ... that is why it is compulsory.

Hi all,

I also follow this thread even I'm still on 3 months mark of my 820 but what I don't understand or I can't still believe that my friend(from philippines) who applied and have an agent for 801, last month, for his wife and children (also Filipino) and got their grant in just a week. Of course I am happy for them.

Smile 801 documents

Hi, long time observer first time poster. wondering if anyone could answer a couple of questions for me;

1) I've got 820 visa given 2016 eligibility for 801 was oct 2017 and processed nov 17. we done the 820 through a lawyer but decided to do the 801 ourselves online. Question is do we re-do the same documents done in the 820 like the form 80 particulars regarding travel information etc? won't they already have this info from the 820 application?

2) form 888 does this have to be done on the official documents as our family members have done this on a commonwealth stat dec instead. will this matter?

been a long process so far but excited to get PR and move on with my life!

1/ If you supplied the form 80 at 820 stage then you don't need to supply it again

2/ DIBP require 888's

You will need to provide evidence since the grant of the 820, AFP, copy of passport.
