Next step would be to go to ombudsman but considering they have stopped providing time frames in the email on an individual basis, not sure how much good would that do.

There was an option for anonymous feedback too but I decided to put in all my details as well as the TRN number.

I mean our application is decision ready. All the documents are up and ready to roll. I don't want to just sit and wait for our Police Clearance to expire and for them to ask for it again. I mean seriously, a little more information would be helpful. I am not after a grant for my VISA but give me info like:

What's my number in the line.
How many applications till ours get touched.
Have a look at our application and maybe tell us now if more documents are needed so we can save additional time and provide them right away.
Yeah I just want my grant now haha. It is frustrating having no communication at all. Like I can understand from their point of view given the sheer number of applications for Visa's they need to go through but seriously, if there's a delay a simple "Hey we have a backlog we haven't forgot about you" would be great. I mean why tell me I have 28 days to add additional evidence then not even acknowledge it?! Was it enough? Was it right? ARGH!!!

Makes me cry when I see people who applied AFTER me getting it granted WAY before me to, I guess there isn't a line it's just pot luck.

So I got reply back today from my email I sent yesterday:

"Thank you for your email.

Information on processing times for the Partner (Residence) (subclass 801) visa and all other visas can be found at Global visa and citizenship processing times

The Department requested additional evidence in August as you had provided insufficient documents. Adding additional documents to your ImmiAccount does not change your place in the processing queue.

At this stage you have provided all the requested documents.

A case officer will be in contact with you at a later date if they require further information or additional documents."

I wouldn't mind but when I first applied the processing time was 9-12mths, then it jumped to 12-18mths and now it is 15-21mths!!!

So basically it's sit down shut up and wait your turn.

We celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary today, been together 7 years last October (almost three years were long distance). Yet we're still faffing around waiting for me to get PR.

And nobody will clearly entertain my email because I am one month under the the 21 months processing time.

Not sure how they expect to have it processed by next month when it still hasn't been assigned for processing yet according to my IMMI account!

Hold up! Are you telling me that you have been waiting for 20 MONTHS??

You have great patience I have to admit. Look at me here losing me cool at 9 month mark, haha!

What email address did you email to? The Processing centre one?

I am afraid you may have a longer wait than you expect, I remember reading somewhere on another forum that unless you submit a complete application, processing times could be longer.
Not trusting my memory I went to the site,Global visa and citizenship processing times) ,and sure enough in the fine print under the section headed " Circumstances that effect processing times" it states:
"To ensure your application falls within the published processing times, you need to submit a complete application"
Hope you don't have to wait too long.

@LouElla If you don't mind me asking, what other docs did they ask for? I believe my application is complete with all the documents but just want to make sure that I haven't forgotten anything.

Hi guys,
A quick question. I have got my PR last year and we moved recently to a different address. Should I send any form to IMMI about the change?

thanks and good luck to everyone!

Unless there is an active and pending application/matter with the immigration department, you don't need to notify them of anything.

A tip however, make sure you setup mail forwarding and change your address on all your insurances, utilities, banks and other institutions.

I remember seeing your posts about 3 years ago we applied for partner visa around the same time. I just got my 801 partner visa grant this morning. Maybe yours will be soon too. I submitted my 801 application back in the end August of 2016 Good luck.
