I'm not eligible to apply for 801 until 11th October 2018, but I'm home this week on holiday (super exciting stay in pyjamas all day, watch Netflix, and work on Visa holiday LOL) and thought I'd just get a bit of a jump organizing and scanning and I just have a couple of questions. Sorry if they've been answered, I did a search and didn't find anything relevant.

1. To what extent did you combine documents into a single file? Is it worthwhile combining evidence that is related into 1 document to upload? i.e. supplementary credit card holder, tax claims showing each other, super beneficiary, joint flybuys, etc. Or would you keep them seperate? Does it matter?

2. Unfortunately we've had a bit of a fertility struggle in the last 2 years, so we're heading down to see a fertility specialist at an IVF clinic in 3 weeks. Would you include copies of your referrals and any paperwork the clinic would provide as evidence? We do have a joint appointment and will each be tested for various things, it just seems a bit much to include a copy of my husbands sperm analysis, for example LOL. What would you guys do? Include fuel receipts (it's 5 hours away)? Take a selfie in front of the infertility clinic? (I'm KIDDING about the selfie...maybe!)

3. Did you black out credit card numbers (all but last 4 digits) etc on documents showing those?

Thanks in advance for all your help! This forum has literally saved my sanity for the past few years!
1/ It has to be like evidence that you combine together. So tax return showing spouse & super beneficiary can go together because they are the same kind of evidence.

The copy of the credit cards showing the additional card holder can go in the same file as the credit card statements.

2/ I am guessing that the blood tests will not be bulk billed so you should get a receipt paying for them. If that is the case just provide a copy of the receipts.

3/ We didn't black out the credit card numbers.

801 eligibility

Hello everybody,
I was eligible for 801 on August 2017. I've submitted my application on 25th October 2017 and uploaded documents on the 17th of November 2017.

I've logged in to my Immi account and it showed firstly Further assessment and now its showing Further assessment with a waiting period of 18 up to 23 months!

Is this normal? It's because I've submitted the docs 2 months later?

Any help appreciated,
thanks
A.

Unfortunately, the long waiting time is normal. Also just remember that it is actually 75% of applications processed by 18 months, which means 75% will be granted in less than 18 months. The 23 months is 90% of applications granted in 23 months, so there are still 10% of applications than can take longer than 23 months.

It is important to note that we have seen quite a few applications of late being granted around 11 months.

The processing time is based on your eligibility date not when you submitted it.

Immi have been changing their website since the start of March.

At first (in Oct 17 when I applied), it showed the applicant's name with the waiting time and the processing status (mine was Assessment in Progress).

First wave of updates showed the above but added the sponsor's name under the applicant's and changed the "Assessment in Progress" status to "Further Assessment"

Second wave of updates took away the sponsor's name and the estimated processing time.

Third wave of updates re-added the processing time.

The processing time has been 18-23 months since mid January if I'm remembering correctly. I wouldn't worry about it because the format will probably change again in the near future!

PR granted!!

Thank you everyone for your support! you are the best forum.

When I got the 801 granted after giving the good news to the people close to me, I thought about you all.

If you have any questions please ask me, we did the application by ourselves and learned from you all.

Patience! it will be granted to you .

Got the 60 documents under my name and my partner 30 uploaded documents. Airbnb, tickets of travels, love letters, services, shared bank account, photos (with friends, social media, Christmas, with friends, birthdays, weddings, holidays together and with friends etc) gift from friends and families to both of us, videos of us with family, all the mandatory documents, Instagram, facebook chats with friends/groups, life insurance, tax declaration, my email, his email access, netflix account. Cards from: cafes, library, coles, art store in my name and his name. Registered relationship, bills, rent lease on both names, veterinary (cat details with our address), delivery from eBay on my name and his name (same address) etc

Love!

Congrats! You may want to update your details - Eligibility date is 15 March 2017, not 2015 and your citizenship eligibility is 28 March 2019 (unless the rules change).

It is nice to see immigration around the 12 month period at the moment a nice change from last year with them being around 14 months.

Hi!!

Yes, High-risk country. We have never been contacted by immigration, uploaded information every 2/3 months and the last update was 5 days before the visa was granted.

All the best

Hello!
Are the department still sending out letters when you are nearing the eligibility date for the 801 visa?
I will be eligibile on May 31st and have evidence ready to upload, however, am unsure as to whether I need to wait to hear from them? I believe that I can now upload as it is less than 2 months from the date...
Should I also keep uploading additional information periodically after our initial upload, until the 801 is (hopefully!) granted?

Thanks for your help - this forum is continiously helpful!

"You do not need to wait for us to contact you. You can provide your documents no earlier than one month before that date. Do not send your documents too early; we will not begin assessing your application until two years have passed from the day you lodged that application."
