Thanks for you help - I had also seen that information, however on the Home Affairs site it also says...

Shortly before you are eligible to be assessed for a Partner (permanent) visa (usually two years after application lodgement), you will receive a letter from the department asking you to provide information relating to your application.

Important: If you send your information and document more than two months before your eligibility date, we will return them to you and ask you to obtain updated documents closer to your eligibility date.

Guessing this could be old information?

Yep. They stopped doing that last year. The visa part of the website is the most updated information. Clearly they are still updating the other sub pages.

Hi ya'll
Applied for 801 on 6 August 2016. Been waiting for over 20 months. I submitted a feedback through immigration website as some suggested on subclass 100 thread. It was done on Sunday and on Monday my wife got a call from immigration lady, who was asking various questions about our relationship, living arrangements etc. My wife informed her that our baby is on the way and relationship is continuing. Soon after that I got email asking me about information about all the jobs I have done in my life including unemployment period and current job and all the courses I have done in my life and where etc. That was really quick. I was expecting a call to myself but none so far. I emailed all the details today. Additionally, i was asked to provide pregnancy details of my wife and evidence to prove it. To which i sent scans and doctor's referral. Fingers crossed.

Hi!

Does anyone knows how the status on the applications really works?
I lodge my 801 application in January and alll this time I've been as "received". but a friend of mine, who also applied for the 801 submitted her application a week ago and she went from "submitted" to "further assessment" immediately.

I am a bit confused about it .

Thank you guys!

i can see guys here waiting for over 20 months like honestly i cant immagine myself waiting that long im already 7 months behind my eligibility ( eligible since sep 2017 ) and im planning if i dont get mine in the next 5 or 6 months im gonna lodge a complaint as its really unfair to make people wait that long .

and we havent heard about any 801 grants lately while the 100 thread seems more active .

Hi guys. Good news for me. My 801 was granted today within two hours after I send the info that was requested. It was a long wait. I'm permanent resident now. Wooohoo. Good luck to you all.
