I donít understand what that last updated means though. Youíre eligible since 2016 and I am March 2017 and still we have same last updated date. I guess it has something to do with processing

Just called immi to ask what that last updated means and I was on 103 waiting. This is insane. You canít even reach them when you want to. Why they need to cut back on staff when theyíre forking $7k from a single application and still they canít afford people to process on time. This is so weird and annoying. 50000 applications in a year and $7k from one application. Thatís hell lot of money and no idea where that money goes to. I guess they need money to spend on expensive lifestyle and gambling when heaps of people keep waiting to start their life

Back in 2013 they used to process within couple of months and now itís almost 2 years which is so insane and the only reason is they donít have enough staff to process applications. I donít believe they donít have enough budget provided that everyone is paying $7k. Thatís hell lot of money to hire extra people and get things done quickly

Yeah i do agree with you they getting alot of money they should hiring many people to finalize that and when i lodge my application back in 2014 processing time was 6-8 months and for 801 was the same 6-8 months now 21 months OMG whats going all this people paying all this much money unfair for us to be waiting more than 12 months

It is not to do with no enough staff it is do with the number of people applying. They are getting more and more applications every year but if you look at the number of grants they say roughly the same. It doesn't take much to realise that they have an unofficial cap on how many they grant. They make sure they stay within their targets. So if they want to approve 50,000 in the year and 80,000 apply then of course the processing times are going to go up.
