820 granted may 2017:

-joint car loan (may 2017)
-our wedding in australia (16 dec 2017) with marriage certificate
-travel to usa (18 dec 2017-17 jan 2018)
-2nd wedding in usa (23 dec 2017) with decorative certificate (official wedding was in australia)
-joint lease agreement
-wills
-joint bills
-separate bank statements (highlighted to show bills/groceries, etc)
-supers with spouse as beneficiary
-facebook pages linked (may 2017- ongoing)
-family medical insurance (aug 2017-ongoing)
-family pics at events
-stat decs from husband and myself about our ongoing relationship, household, etc.

Will start getting 888s in the next few months. We will be opening a joint account; but i'm the primary earner in our family, so we just hadn't gotten around to it. Husband just had first eye surgery on right eye and will have surgery on left eye in sep/oct. Should we include information about this? I only ask as we had to meet s3 requirements for 820 and this was one of the main reasons for meeting s3 (husband's eye deterioration/partial blindness). I think i've seen before where once s3 is met, we don't have to meet it again for 801, but i want to be certain.

Am i missing anything? Thanks in advance!

all best to you!!!!!!!

I'd just mention S3 compliance in your statement ( your on a substantive visa now so no S3 required) but a good look in your favour.

Tie the family in as much as you can and you can use your tax return as evidence too.

Hope all is working out Lady for you guys.

Congratulations to everyone who got their PR! I'm actually overdue on my 801 lodgement since my 820 has been completed last 30 Mar 2018. 801 is still in progress with completion.
Quick questions:
1. I have a dependent which is already on 445 visa linked to my 820. Do I need to add him on the 801 as "Migrating members on the family unit" even if he's already in Australia?
2. I just got my new passport in which I have changed my surname to my husband's one, should I still update my 820 or just use my new passport details with the 801 visa processing?

Hope someone can help me!

Thanks!!

Awesome idea! Thanks for that, Ampk! And yes, I'd forgotten to put down tax returns, as we've obviously claimed each other on them and will again this year.

All is going great! My oldest just completed his first semester at Uni back in Alaska, but he plans to come back in a year and a half to finish Uni here at UWA or Murdoch. He gets free tuition at the University of Alaska...so definitely a plus and he's doing that until the 801 is granted. That way, we don't have to pay international student fees here in Australia.I'm in a permanent position at our local high school and my youngest is doing great in school. My husband is actually able to see a tiny bit out of his right eye now, which was blind before. It should get better as the months go by. So the surgery thus far seems to be working. Life is good! I hope you are doing well! How are things going with you? We need to catch up!
