Second paragraph, although it states if you have an "undecided application", so the change in address for a 2 week holiday may only have to be done for holidays during the processing of your 801.

When i emailed them and got an automatically generated response, one of the point stated that

”Subclass 309 & 100 visa holders - There are no travel or work restrictions associated with your current visa. If you intend to travel outside Australia during the processing of your application, please make sure your contact details are up to date, so you are able to receive departmental correspondence. Failure to respond to requests for information can lead to a refusal of a visa and the cessation of your temporary visa.”

I don’t really know about 801 because I’m applying for 100, but i guess if you’re on 820 already that should be similar? Because i’ve been travelling several times and didn’t inform immi prior to my travel dates, but i check my email every now and then in overseas and when i come back to aust I’m updating the details in my immi account

Thanks have a nice day

Hi everyone, thanks for the information shared in this thread, however I just couldn’t find the complaint link someone posted before. When I search on google the page I found will lead to a questionnaire: contact type - complaint - visa - no need to submit a form. Then done.

Could anyone please post again where exactly I can submit a certain complaint?

My timeline:
820 applied: 15 sep 2014
820 granted: Oct 2015
801 applied: 05 sep 2016

Sent four emails during the waiting but no response.

Thank you very much!

Global Feedback Form: https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/about...enship-service

Choose: Complaint

And when they asked if you enquire about visa status, answer No.

What is the expected outcomes? Choose Finalize Application, Request. Enter application ID.

Hi again. So we are currently filling out form 1002 for my son (who has dependent visa 445), while I'm also about to submit application for 801 visa, and I noticed on the form, it asks for the parents visa and child visa number. As far as I know, the visa number is the "visa grant number" from the grant notice but in the form, the visa number only has 11 spaces and the format is a bit diff. It looks like this:

V_ _ _ < _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

For those who have filled out form 1002, what did you enter as visa number?

Thanks!!

So after I lodged the complaint, this is all i have received:

The Department of Home Affairs has received your feedback on 6 June 2018. Feedback on our processes and services is important and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

From 14 March 2017, we began publishing current global processing times for the majority of visa subclasses and citizenship services. The new processing time information gives an indication of the time it will likely take to finalise a complete application. Global visa and citizenship processing times are updated monthly, providing an indicative timeframe for processing applications. Two processing times are displayed, indicating how long it is taking to finalise 75 and 90 per cent of applications submitted globally.

You can view processing times on our website at http://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/about/...ocessing-times.

We do not respond to status-related enquiries that fall within the published processing times. You should wait until after the processing time has elapsed before contacting us. If you lodged your application online, you can monitor the status of your application through ImmiAccount.

Once you have lodged your application you can expect us to:

· undertake checks, as required, to confirm that the information and documents provided are truthful and accurate

· finalise the application as quickly as possible and in accordance with Australian law.

To ensure your application is completed within the expected timeframe, make sure that you:

· submit a complete application, including all necessary supporting documents

· provide any additional documents or information we request within the specified time, or tell us immediately if this is not possible. (Remember to check your junk folder, as our correspondence may auto-filter into spam).

· keep contact with the case officer or processing office to a minimum, to allow processing of applications to proceed as quickly as possible.

Note: Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Some individual circumstances may cause applications to fall outside the published processing times.

Your correspondence will be sent to the relevant processing area for information.

We hope this information has been helpful to you.

Yours sincerely
