Same here! I also notice in the 'Application History', the Application Submitted is dated 17 Jan 2016 which is when I submitted the 820 form not the 801.

75% 90%
820 Partner 17 months 25 months
801 Partner 15 months 22 months

Do you mean the Stage 2 eligibility is showing your Stage 1 820/801 application date?

No not the stage 2 eligibility but the Application submitted date for my 801.

820 applied = 17Jan16
820 granted = 30Mar16
801 eligibility = 30Mar16 (I assume?)
801 applied = 9Jun18

On the last Friday I called immigration. The operator told me: "Unfortunately the partner visa stage 2 processing time increased to 24 months to 30 months." That is his exact words. Good to see what he said is not true.
Thanks for sharing the update.

That is on page 1 posted by Mish. We are at page 181 now.

Unfortunately I cannot add a link to my posts. Even though I am referencing to the same site (domain name), I get an error:
"Sorry you are not allowed to post links to other sites. You are only allowed to post URLs (links) to other sites after you become an Active Member and have made over 5 posts or more which follow the rules and are not at all promotional."

Not quite.

820/801 applied: 17 Jan 16
820 granted is irrelevant.
801 eligibility: 17 Jan 18
801 documents submitted: 9 Jun 18

The 820/801 application is for both the 820 AND 801. You're applying for both. Stage 2 is just eligibility for the 801, which is two years from the 801 application date (so the 820/801 application date). This is why you'll notice the 801 "application" doesn't say "application" at all, it says "assessment". The application was made two years prior.

It explains why 309/100 and 820/801 applicants are eligible for Medicare without needing an actual grant of the 309, 100, 820 or 801. Medicare eligibility is based on having made an application for a permanent visa, which all 820/801 and 309/100 applicants do once they pay.

I applied for the 801 on 1st of October, one day after eligibility. I've uploaded as much information as possible, along with the police checks etc, with the hopes that it would be flagged as a pretty straight forward application.

I then uploaded extra docs when we got approved for a mortgage and purchased a house some weeks ago.

Never ever in a million years did I expect to receive my PR within 8 months of applying! I thought I had at least another year of waiting to go... So my tip to everyone is that there is still hope and just upload as much info from the start so you might be able to move quicker in queue.

Good luck!
Congratulations! sirilejeune, May I ask have you got married and any kids as a results of the relationship?

Thank you.

I wonder whether married and children will speed up the application.

I found out one important thing that affecting the processing status. There is a button:"I confirm I have provided information as requested", before I click it, my status is "initial assessment", after clicking it, it becomes:"further assessment"!

Is there anyone notice that?
