I was just wondering. In permanent partner visa stage 2 (801), do i need to upload AFP and health check again?
Or do immigration asks for these two thing in stage 2 to finalise the application later on?
Please advise me.
Thanks
You don’t need to submit anything you need to wait for the case officer to ask you just lodge all your evidence that you r on genius relationships since was your 820 granted good luck

However, i got the payment invoice mentioning that the application is submitted.
What might be the reason for this and can she use invoice copy as reference to enrole medicare?
You need a it of time to update on they system but you got already the reference number at the top

Yes, an AFP check is required to submit at the start of your application as well as police checks for any country you've lived for 12+ months after receiving your 820. A health check generally isn't required.

I would not advise to wait on submitting your AFP (as recommended by another member) as CO's aren't required to remind you to upload any documents and may process your application without it!

Technically immigration suggests waiting until requested for both police checks and medicals, so I wouldn't be concerned about waiting on those (obviously not medical at 801 stage). As far as supplying evidence goes, then that they do not need to request as it should already be provided.

"You can provide the following police certificates with your application, but you do not have to. If you do not provide them, will ask for them." link

Referring to immiaccount note: "You can minimise the processing time for this application by supplying all supporting documents and responding to any requests for information promptly."

If case officer finds your documents incomplete, she contacts you. To me, that means delay.

That's what we did: We applied for AFP and uploaded that to Immi Account one month after we applied for 801. We renewed the AFPs few months ago because AFP is valid only for one year and our application was not finalized within that one year.

Good luck

perhaps this will add to the confusion but just info.
for my wife's 100 (the requirements are the same) we included the AFP at the time. it was granted after 19 months and we didn't have to get it renewed, I had checked with the general processing email when it expired and again when we were asked for more info.

Thanks for all the responses for 801 AFP

And also does the stage 2 take the actual time shows on immi website or it is finalised sooner than that for some applications? Cause i know one guy who have his application finalised just in 10 months after he uploaded the documents for stage 2.

The first time shown is 75 of apps processed in that time or less (meaning anywhere from 1 day to time posted). Second number is 90% processed in that time and another 10% above it. So technically everyone falls into the posted timeframes. Just hopefully the lower one!

Also, I wasn't saying to wait on your AFP, just correcting info that they don't request it when they do.

Did you apply online through Immi account or by paper post?
