Hi guys,

This might be a silly question but do you think the applicant's employment status and education are the factors immigration look at when they review our applications?

I am currently filling the application online and one of the questions was the employment history for the past 2 years. Another one is whether or not the applicant have studied tertiary education after 820 was granted.

I have been told this visa only look at the relationship evidence but since they ask these questions now I am not too sure. Should I attach my payslips and the transcript from the Graduate Diploma I am currently studying?

Thanks in advance for your answers

Hello, can anyone have any ideas about the 2nd process of Visa 801? I just read news update, they said about you can't send more required documents through post? For me, since I have been applied for visa 820, i used to send to them by post. (19 /Aug/2016) it will be 2years soon, that's why I need to prepare more documents, but no idea what going on recently with news update.

Hi,
Even you applied 820 via post, you can use ImmiAccount for 801. You need to create an account and fill the form online and attach your documents online.

Cheers.

Thank you so much, I just find it's quite complicated to log in to ImmiAcc. That's reason I also send my document through post since the beginning.

I hear you. It is quite complicated and lengthy but the good thing is it will allow you to take your time when filling the form and attaching your files. Also when they ask for more documents you can attach on there instead of sending them via post.

Good luck!

Hello everyone.

I applied for my 820 on the 01/03/2017 and received a yes 01/01/2018. I am researching 801 to make sure I save everything so I can apply in March 2019.

I used an immigration agent for my 820, does anyone know if he will help me with 801? I received an email from him saying congestion’s on your 820, we will be in contact with you when it’s tome to apply for your 801. I feel rude asking o.o

Ok, probably a silly question, but don't have time to wade through the posts:

Can we start our 801 application 2 months prior to eligibility? Or do I need to wait until the date of eligibility?

MyImmi account has the stage 2 application listed, so I'm taking that to mean I can start uploading everything now? My eligibility date is 5 October 2018.

Thanks in advance and sorry to repeat a question. Just want to make sure I'm crossing my t's and dotting my i's.

The Stage 2 application has always been there, that's not because you're 2 months away.

Website was updated and changed the 2 month thing to 1 month. The online form asks if it's been 24 months since you applied and selecting "No" won't let you continue. Personally, not much point in doing it early as they won't look at it beforehand. You can gather all your documents then upload it all within an hour on the day.
