Phew!!

We uploaded quite a few documents towards the end of 2017, and continually added each couple of months until a few weeks ago.
Zero dependents but we are recently engaged after meeting five years ago.

Key point: two weeks ago I emailed them via the enquiries form to say that our application was 100 percent complete and ready for review. Did this have an effect?? Who knows!!
Congratz Dafitz!!!! xo
Can you please tell us if you applied 801 online or post?

6 months after submitting the 2nd stage of the Visa I uploaded new relationship evidences online like couple more form 888's from close friends, furniture purchases, more joint bank account statements, more photos together with family and friends, a letter of how are we doing from when we were granted 820 to present and our plans in the future.

I uploaded my 2 girls form 1002 on the 7th of October after I read it somewhwere in this forum, honestly I won't have any idea that we need to submit those forms if I didn't see it here as we used agent to process their temporary dependent child visas before and we didnt bother to read things on the immigration website.

I got impatient the other day and tried sent a complaint/feedback to them.

This is what I said on the complaint/feedback form thing

"Why is it taking so long to process my Permanent Visa I have been waiting for my Permanent visa since February 2016 and I have friends that submitted applications after me that was granted permanent visa already and that is unfair."

I hope this helps 😊

Thanks heap Lanzlans for sharing your story with us. All the best to you and your family.

I’ve been wating 801 for 24 and half months now, 2 month ago I sent an email to Victoria Department but still have not heard any things from them and 3 days ago I just complainted at the immi website link and still quite. I don’t know what happen to my cause. We have been travelling so many countries Belguim, Netherlands, India, China, Thailand, Luxembourg and France. We have join bank account and Electricity and both family visiting each other and more evidences but still quite. I think they reply the person who have been not waiting too long time because they have an excuse but for me they don’t reply because we have been waiting for long time. I’m so much sad because I’m planing to morgage the house and lost so many opportunities.

Hi Tommy,

When did you submit your 820/801? I've been waiting 24 months now from the eligibility date. Did you apply online or by post?

Did you apply 801 online or by post? I applied by post, so maybe this is the reason why it's talking so long?
As in your post, first you used Enquiry Form, then Complain Form and still no response?

I certainly feel your pain. You are now outside of processing time frame, you should be able to contact them and request your case to be looked at! Maybe try the complain again?

With mortgage, if you apply for it with your partner you should be able to get it (depending on income/ circumstances of course). I have just took out 2 mortgages for 2 houses with my partner. NAB rejected us at first but CBA accepted us and we made the purchase last month. You might need to pay a bit more for stamp duty in some states but it is what it is. Hope this helps!

Tommy, as you said in your previous post, you made an inquiry and then complain to the department? Did you just send an email to them and not through the website?
