Thank you.

I am grateful that we had to 6 to 8 months which gave us grounds to complain.

I would really love to know how many complaints they get. Maybe that is why they removed the processing times from the email.

You either have the choice of going with one with higher rates or waiting. Unfortunately DIBP know that people can get loans being on an 820 as people supply documents.

Otherwise you can try a mortgage broker.
Thanks for the advice. We've been down the avenue of mortgage broker as well as met with the big banks and small lenders. A mortgage is a big deal, we want to get it right and be happy with our decision. Just sucks that we have to wait.

We live so close to the immigration centre in Sydney, i wish we could pay someones wages for the day to come and hang out with us, haha.

Congratulations for visa grant.

I dont remember the processing times of SC 100 when I submitted my application. I submitted in May 2016. My eligibility was mid July 2016.

Could you please try to find for me the processing times of visa 100 by then. If it happens to be the same, I am planing to complain to the immigration.

Enjoy life with your PR resident partner in Aus.

It will be in the email that they sent you. Processing times are based on eligibility date and they will quote those words and the processing time in the email.

Hi Mish and everyone here,

My subclass 801 permanent resident visa is approved today at 8:00am just in time when I check my phone . I applied my 801 on 04 June 2014 and approved it today for exactly 11 months and 7 days.

Thank you Mish for your valuable help and to everyone . I do not need to write to complain anymore. I guess, they are reading this thread too. To everyone in here who are still waiting, this will give you hope that soon yours will also be approved. Just keep on waiting, benchmark I guess is between 11-12 months.

The long wait is over.

Congrats Gretz. I think maybe the 929 form you sent may have triggered it too.

It is all luck of the draw. I believe if I hadn't complained we would have been waiting forever because of where my husband is from.

But my case is differen. I sumbitted my application before they even sent any email. As I submitted before they invited me to submit, I never received any email from they.

So unable to know exactly the processing times at that specific time.

That makes it hard to complain when you were not advised of the processing times.

But on the website at the time, I think I have seen it quoted as 6-8 months for 100.

That is what gave me initial hope that it will be processed quicker. Anyway will wait for another one month. If nothing comes thro, will complain.

When I complained I used the original email that said the processing times as the foundation of my complaint.

If you use the website that changes and that is what they now refer to in their emails which will now make complaints harder.
