Did they give you a number to call or an email? After I submitted the required documents, I waited a few days, then I called the CO to ask if they needed anything else. Got my grant 20 minutes after the phone call. But I guess I was lucky in that the CO actually called me requesting the information and gave me her phone number if I needed to ask any questions. Most don't do that. But an email or a phone call doesn't hurt, to state you submitted everything and ask if they need anything else.

They aren't going to contact you to tell you they received them.

No one can tell you when they'll get back to looking at your case or making a decision. Some people get answers within hours, days, weeks and others wait months or even a year or more. I feel I read on here about grants coming more often within a few weeks of supplying requested documents.

Thanks for your reply. We received an email from partner visa processing centre. We have no direct contract details of CO to contact. I called department this morning but they advised me to wait for CO to re-visit my application. Call Centre staff are unable to do anything except following pre-written scripts to read to applicants.

My partner and I changed residences last year and we moved from one rental place to another. We changed the address in our drivers licence, bank, utility bills etc but I noticed that we had forgot to change the address on our phone bills for 2-3 months. I am applying for the second stage of the partner visa soon and we would like to provide our phone bills, highlighting phone calls to each other since the grant of my first visa. Should the fact that we haven't changed the address on our phone bills for a couple of months be an issue?

You should scan all your phone bills in one pdf file including a cover letter explaining your situation about change of address on the bills. You should also mention that it was just an overlook from your side to update address with phone service provider but you managed to change it with other service providers, financial institution, and licence authorities.

I personally believe it should not cause any issues as long as you can explain them genuinely with evidence.

I hope this will help

Honestly, that's an unnecessary step anyway unless you were living apart and need to prove you maintained contact. If you were living together, there should be plenty of other evidence and such detailed phone records definitely wouldn't make or break it. In this case, I'd probably just upload one or two phone statements that show the old address and the new one just to show it's been updated.
