We have never lived apart since the grant of my 820. Sounds like a good idea, thanks

Hi guys
Department asked for form 80 which I submitted in 1 week and last date to submit was 08/11 but I haven’t heard back from them.
I have one more ques guys
For those who are on bridging visa and didn’t got any TR or PR related to partner visa do they need to submit form 888 again?

In my case I submitted form 888 when I initially started my application. After 30 months department made contact asking for afp medical etc. all submitted. Then department asked for form 80 which is again submitted and m waiting to hear back.
Is there any possibility that they can ask for 888 again?

VISA Granted!!
Hi all,
I have been granted my 801 visa a few weeks ago. Thanks to everyone here for your help and support all the way and best of luck for all who are waiting.

Visa held prior to lodging 820 application: PMV
Applied for 820: Jul 2015
801 eligibility and apply date: Jul 2017, online application, high risk country.
801 Visa Grant: Oct 2018 ( 16 months)

I had a well-organized online application and my evidence checklist included the following:
1- joint bank accounts
2- joint rent agreement
3- joint health insurance
4- tax returns (show the spouse info)
4- beneficiary nomination for each others superannuation
5- utility account bills ( joint and separate).
6- car loan, joint car ownership and insurance.
7- joint domestic flights and accommodation booking
8- social, sport event tickets
9- few photo albums.

I have updated the evidence list a few times during the waiting time like bank statements and utility bills to keep the evidence up to date I also updated the police clearance after one year without waiting for them to ask for it.

801 is a tough waiting game, just be patient and best of luck to everyone!

Hi Asb,

From my experience I lodged complaint then I received the Auto email from them the next day then they granted my visa the 3rd day

We all have different circumstances and situations and for my case I told them that my application is decision ready meaning I provided evidences more than enough on all 4 categories

Thanks Lanzlans!! I sent through a suggestion not recommendation and haven’t got any reply back, not an auto email. Not sure what happened. 😢

Doing a check through all of the documents/evidence that we've provided for the 801 and realised that I forgot to upload our wills. However, while looking at them, my husband and I then realised that we need to update the wills to say "spouse" instead of "de facto." We used our Wills in our 820 visa...so my question is this: Should we update our Wills and submit them now, upload the original ones that we have and used for the 820; or, should we not worry about uploading them for the 801?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Apologies if this has been discussed before in here.
I applied for the second state of partner visa/801 and when I try to attach documents I only see a small list of recommended documents most of which do not apply to me. I do not see any options for uploading documents nature of commitment, nature of household, social aspects, or even ID such as passport or drivers licence. Do I upload everything under "Other"?

Hi Ejona,

We had the same thing happen.
We logged out, then logged in again after an hour and all the categories were there.
