You don't need a BVB if you hold an 820 visa.

Quick one - I have just had a missed call from No caller ID and suspect that it could be the department. If it was them will they call back? they didn't leave the voicemail though. It might not be them but I got excited for a sec then because I never had no caller ID called me before.
They will ring back if it was them. Generally, from what I have read they will only ring you if they are going to interview you, as in have doubts about the relationship. I am pretty sure that is not the type of phone call I would be excited about to tell you the truth.

I have also heard that immigration do not leave voicemails but at the same time telemarketers etc don't either.

Ah thanks Mish!
Just last week a friend of mine had a phone call from them to ask about their new born child and after the conversation the PR was granted. I simply thought the phone call might be a good news as at least they are looking at the application but now I am sure lol
However, we have absolutely nothing to hide and we would be able to answer all of their questions and/or provide more evidence if needed.
But who knows it could have been telemarketer after all!

I think when everyone is going through the process any phone calls from a private number you get your hopes up.

I'm not on an 820 visa anymore. I have a BVA while I wait on the status of my 801 application.

Still waiting for a decision re: 801.. <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/frown.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Frown" class="inlineimg" />
Now the waiting time has been increased by a month
and i'm growing more impatient by the day.
Does anyone here have a similar issue? or any advice?<img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

Hi Panther, My Timeline is 5 Days shorter so pretty much the same! I'am with a migration agent but it doesn't change anything so I email the PR processing centre in Melbourne and told them I have been waiting too long. Waiting an answer, don't hesitate to do the same and my next step will be a complaint trough the feedback form on the Immigration site. Good luck!

It might be a good news, they probably making sure that you are still together! Could you let us know what was the questions they asked you and how long it was? Thanks. Martin.

How so? You can't do Stage 2 until you hold the temporary visa...

Once you have the 820, you're on the 820 until a decision is made on the 801 unless you get granted a different visa that replaces it. i.e., There is no bridging visa between 820 and 801.
