Hi Littlecloudy, I basically told them I was waiting for a very long time and explained them I am working full time for 3 years and can't progress at word due to my residency status...

Hey people im new member here but i always been a fan of this forum as i find it very helpful just a quick question regarding lodging a complaint as ive been waiting for 16 months since my eligibity date for 801 and ive got a lawyer and i asked him if we can lodge a complaint but he said that unless it is an urgent situation he doesn’t recommend it as it can raise concerns to immigration im not sure how true that is what concerns if im in a genuine and legitimate relationship with my wife and we love each other but we just want to get it done with before new year he told me lodging a complaint when u still within processing time will always raise concerns and immigration dont like it

It can go either way so it's a risk. There have been other posters on here that complained to immigration about waiting and had their applications scrutinized more, and they were questioned on why they wanted PR so badly.

Others like myself used the form to request processing of PR and got it straight away, no questions asked by immigration.

I do have question, it might not relate to 801.. but if in case anyone would have idea about it. My friend husband was passed away before she grant Temporary Visa( She apply for it before he passed away anyway), she could stays in Australia right now because the time period of her prospective visa isn't over yet. Have anyone have any ideas if those time period end, she might hold Bridging Visa A instead since her Temporary Visa isn't yet decided?

She needs to notify the department and do some things but it is possible that the partner visa could still be granted anyway. The worst thing she can do is nothing and expect to stay on the bridging visa.

She did notify the department already just like you said, it just she hasn't hear anything departmemt... and most people had been said that to her that it might take a while for her... and she can't do anything beside hold Bridging Visa .
Anyway, Thank you so much for your helping.

The times are in their signature. Says eligible Feb 2018 and granted December 2018 so less than 10 months.

Thumbs up

Congratulations on the visa grants!

Has anyone been requested to do a health check for the 801, or does anyone know if it's common to be requested? .

I'd like to submit in my application as "front-loaded" as possible, but just not sure if the health check would be necessary during this 2nd stage - I did a health check for the 1st stage (309) at the end of 2016.
