Yesterday when I applied it was still 17-21 months and today it says 18-29 months… what a difference a day makes *sigh*

Another thing - when I submitted my application and documents yesterday the application instantly showed the status “Further assessment”. Does this status mean anything? Has this happened to anyone else who’s currently following the thread?

Just logged in again and mine says 19 months to 26 months waiting time as supposed to 18-25 months yesterday. Is it showing a different waiting period for everyone?

After all this hard work, I fell into the pitfall of uploading my document into the "other" category - it was the only option that showed in the drop-down menu once I submitted my application (might be a technical bug in the page). I had all the documents ready to go and clearly labelled so I thought "oh well, this is how it works this time around" and uploaded everything to "Other" in one go - only to realise that when I later logged back into my application, all the additional categories suddenly appeared. Anyone about to apply - be aware of this.

I have a lot of uploads left - I was thinking of maybe re-adding some key documents that fit the clear upload categories (e.g. Form's 888, police checks etc). Could that be helpful to the CO or just annoying with the duplication?

Is duplication worse than re-uploading key documents (identity, police check, stat decs) under the right categories ? I’m worried that they have a system that only labels an application as complete when they see that key documents have been uploaded in the right sections.

I intended to do whatever is easiest for the CO - and then I made this stupid error (unknowingly) 😞
Any advice?

In theory it should be the same for everyone, as it is the times for last months processing.

On the main 802 page they have:
Processing times
75% of applications: 18 months
90% of applications: 25 months
Last updated:
18 December 2018

This means that 75% took under 18 months,
15% took between 18 and 25 months and
10% took over 25 months.

On the immiaccount page ours says:

Estimated Processing Time
19 months to 26 months

It is a tad confusing when they have two different areas with processing times, and they are different.

Hi everyone,

I have been accepted for the Subclass 820. I have now recently submitted my 801 application. Does anyone know the order of status for the application? Mine is showing as "Initial Assessment".

IE - does it run in order of:

Application Submitted > Application Received > Initial Assessment > Further Assessment > Finalised ???
