I’m new to this Forum but have been monitoring everyone’s stories and time lines with regards to processing of 820/801 applications. Below is my timeline:

820/801 - Applied 16 December 2014
820 - Grated 26 April 2016
801 - Eligibility 16 December 2016
801 - Application submitted and received by
Department on 15 March 2017 via
Postage to Melbourne
801 - Still waiting with no correspondence
since initial letter confirming receipt of
application for 801.

My question is what do I do? Do I continue waiting or have I passed the processing timeframe? Does anyone have a direct link for an enquiry form to submit to the department?

Look forward to info and your input on same.
Can I ask why you have submitted it via mail and not online?

Hello All,

Our eligible date is coming up in June 2019 (I understand I can submit 801 evidence from one month prior) - few quick questions I can't find a definitive answer on:
 1. Do I need to resubmit police checks / medical checks this time? I submitted both for the 820 which was granted in Feb 2018.
 2. Do I need to resubmit any of the information I did the first time around (eg. proof of identity) - or is this just proof of our continued relationship from the original date of submission in June 2016?
 3. Do we need to populate a Form 80 again for the 801?

Any advice on what is needed would be greatly appreciated as we begin to think about our next submission

Thanks,
A

I applied for 801 May 2017. i Guess by the time my 26 months is up will be July this year and by then they will say 38-100 months processing time. It keeps going up every few months. What a joke this country is.
I agree, what’s frustrating is the number of applications made after mine but being granted already - I’m not sold that the system they have is working at all. I’m going down the contact route and then ombudsman regardless of my timeline - I have nothing to hide as I’m in a genuine relationship, therefore no fear of pi$$ing then off.

Hi all, is it possible to get some info from all the active members? Some time frames and countries of origin? I have applied for my 801 last Oct. Just wanted to know if others are at the same position as me and if so we can track it and follow it up. I know there are some who have posted in the past but it feels a bit outdated.

Oct 15 ==> 300 applied
Apr 16 ==> 300 granted
6 months period
_________________________________________

Oct 16 ==>820 applied
Oct 16 ==>820 granted (21 days after)
_________________________________________

Oct 18 ==> 801 applied (2days after eligibility day)
Now waiting

Hi All,

Just an update to my last post regarding my application. Today I was finally granted my 801 after submitting an enquiry form to immigration on the progress of my application.

Below is my timeline:

820/801 - Applied 16 December 2014
820 - Granted 26 April 2016
801 - Eligibility 16 December 2016
801 - Applied 15 March 2017
801 - Granted 04 January 2019

Thank you for the info on what process I should take and good luck to everyone that’s still waiting. It’s been a long journey but stay positive 🙂 🙂 🙂

Thank you, it’s been a long journey but I just waited and waited around like everyone else and only enquired once and guess that must have helped with the outcome of my application 😊

My record since 2014 shows that every two months the processing time increased by 1 month on average.
But be patient, we are all in one boat. They must have their own criteria to decide a case and we don't know what they are. There are members whom applied way before May 2017 and still they are waiting.

Visa Status

Hi there,
Does anybody know if there is any other visa status but 'received'? Is there an 'In Process' one?
Just want to make sure there's a chance they are assessing my application even though the status is still' Received'.
