  1. Do I need to resubmit police checks / medical checks this time? I submitted both for the 820 which was granted in Feb 2018.
  2. Do I need to resubmit any of the information I did the first time around (eg. proof of identity) - or is this just proof of our continued relationship from the original date of submission in June 2016?
  3. Do we need to populate a Form 80 again for the 801?

Any advice on what is needed would be greatly appreciated as we begin to think about our next submission

Thanks,

Applying for 801 is not that different from 820. You must submit similar documents as you did for 820. But this time it should be the documents FROM THE GRANT OF 820 (not from the application date in 2016).

No, you do not need medical check again, unless they ask. But you must have police check for any country you lived in more than 180 days (confirm the number of days with immigration) since THE GRANT OF 820. Be aware that the police checks valid only for 12 months. So, since you are in Australia, you have to update it every 12 months.
For other countries, you do not need to update them if you NEVER WENT BACK to stay more than 180 days. Otherwise, you need to update them.

I guess you are from Ukraine. If Ukraine is categorized as high risk, then yes. You must provide form 80 again. Myself, as well, thought I do not need until I called immigration.

Please clicking on this link and follow the steps. For the checklist of what document you need read the section "Gather your documents".

If you have any question, just ask. We are here to help you to go through.
Good luck

Just want to make sure there's a chance they are assessing my application even though the status is still' Received'.
The status of "Received" has not changed for my account for 23 months.
I don't think there is anyway that we know our case has been looked at.

Hey guys. I am applying for my 801 this week. I used an immigration agent for my 820. He never gave me my immi lignin details. Can I apply for my 801 from a new account or do I need to get the log in details from my immi agent?

As far as I know if you used an agent for the 820 they used their own personal account. I applied for both with an agent, however, only the 2nd time (801) I wanted to "see it live". I opened a new immiaccount under my name and the agent sent me the original application submitted into my immiaccount. Therefore, now I'm able to follow it up.

your wait time for 801 is nearly as bad as mine.. im at 21 months now. Up until a little while ago the service time was max 21 months. Recently the a-holes moved it to 26 months. It is odd because all around me people i know are getting their 801's in 12-16 months

One thing i noticed is that you applied for your 801 1 year after the 820 was given. I thought you had to wait 2 years from when the 820 is given to apply for PR

Nope. Stage 2 eligibility is two years after the 820/801 application. Has nothing to do with 820 grant except the fact that you have to have the 820 to do the 801 stage.

Edit: So if your 820/801 application was made in Aug 2013, you were 801 eligible in Aug 2015. Sounds to me like you either got forgotten about or something else is going on. Have you done a VEVO check recently to see if you're still on the 820? Did you apply online? I would certainly be using the enquiry form and chasing this up. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help...s-enquiry-form

What you need is the TRN of the Stage 1 application, which you should have if you were given the Acknowledgement of Application Received. Just create a new application in your own immi account, click Family, then Stage 2.
