Is it guaranteed to work if you use it? No, but it's worth a shot in my opinion regardless of how long anyone has been waiting. What's the worst case scenario? They don't grant it straight away? You're no worse off as you're waiting just the same. Best case is they do grant it and you clear up another spot in queue.
How long were you waiting for your 801, and how many times did you use the enquiry form? I'll start prodding it every month if that is what people here seemed to do
Hi,

Where is this enquiry form please? I am a 309/100 applicant. I wonder if it works for that. My application was front loaded last September and I know it isn't as long as some people on here, but anything that can speed up the process is appreciated.

Thanks!

But I have still updated evidence 3 months ago and still waiting I do not know what should I do now Any advice would be highly appreciated Thanks
I would probably start in this order:

1. Partner (Permanent) Processing Centres Enquiry Form
2. Compliments, complaints and suggestions
3. Immigration - Commonwealth Ombudsman

You would want to include the TRN for the application or whatever details they can use to actually find your application. Keep in mind that Step 3 will not work unless you've already made attempts to contact immigration and waited for a reply. So best to start with 1 and 2 and document what you've said to them and when you sent it so that if immigration does not reply, you can take that information to the Ombudsman.

For others reading, Step 3 doesn't work if you're still within current Global Processing Times (i.e., doesn't matter what the wait times were when you applied or last month even. It's what they are now and how long you've been waiting now.)

Step 1 worked for me and I got the grant within 24 hours of contacting them. I was still within GPTs too.

Edit: I did not use an RMA. I am not sure what the procedures are for you doing this and not the RMA doing it so best to contact your agent and see.
Hello skybluebrewer. You mentioned you used step 1 to contact them and got the grant letter soon . Can you tell me what context you put in there ? I’m thinking to use the enquiry form but no idea what messages I should leave in the form . Thank you

Just an update to my last post regarding my application. Today I was finally granted my 801 after submitting an enquiry form to immigration on the progress of my application.

Below is my timeline:

820/801 - Applied 16 December 2014
820 - Granted 26 April 2016
801 - Eligibility 16 December 2016
801 - Applied 15 March 2017
801 - Granted 04 January 2019

Thank you for the info on what process I should take and good luck to everyone that’s still waiting. It’s been a long journey but stay positive 🙂 🙂 🙂
Congratulations! Can I ask when did you submit your enquiry form to the department? Is it few weeks after grant ? What did you say in the form ? I’m thinking to send the form too but my agent said it’s no point coz it will get auto respond ... thank you !

Hi all, I am due to submit my second stage application next month. I wonder if it's required that the applicant and sponsor both do a statutory declaration? If yes, I have found online only the declaration form for sponsor but unable to find a copy for applicant. And when I did the first stage application, we didn't complete any statutory declaration but only a relationship statement. Can anyone tell us what to do? Much appreciated.

Hi, can I ask some questions? When we use enquiry form, what should we put into the Client ID and Client Number? what should we reference or subscribed in the box? Thank you.

Stage 2 is not the same as Stage 1. Start by reading the website. They walk you through step by step what you need as well as the pdf for the sponsor stat dec form.

The applicant just does the online form, which asks questions that once answered count as the statement.

Because they're not asterisked, those two boxes are not required. Skip them. Put your application ID or TRN number in the message box so they know which application is yours.

As for what I said, it was simply that I submitted all required documents for Stage 2 on XX/XX/XXXX date and am awaiting a decision. I then put in my personal reasons for requesting processing of my case.

Everyone gets an automated reply when they use the form.
