The only reason I'm asking is because the last year has flown by (my 820 visa was granted under 12 months ago) and a lot hasn't honestly changed since then. We both went away on holiday a couple times together which I will be mentioning in the other sections, but in terms of the relationship 'developing' I honestly can't think of what I could say to please the criteria. We're both just going about living our lives the same as we were before the grant, working and trying to enjoy life. I don't want to fall short and have any weak sections here, but as we don't have anything significant to mention like a child birth, an engagement or property purchase, I'm not sure what else they could be asking for :/
Hi, had a good read back on this thread. Received an email couple of weeks ago for 801 application. Eligibility on 06/02 tho. Started to fill out the stage 2 online. I just had a draft of 4 questions based on my hubby’s stat dec. I can hardly think of what to say when you got your 820 under 12 months. We haven’t travelled around, no pics, no social activities/special events.

But on this part, B]"Give details of the development of the relationship from the date the applicant was granted the temporary visa."[/B], here’s my say, “Nothing has changed. We still fart together. I was keen on getting a job. He opened me my own bank accnt. He bought me a car, paid 6 months rego, and bought new tyres and rims. As I have bad habbit on manual driving, he taught me some driving skills on his car and learned more about road rules. He was there on my PDA, holaaa! I passed it! After a month, I got a job and we were very happy. We started planning on getting a house on this town near my work place. We are still waiting for the market to pick up so we can sell this and that....” end of draft.

What evidences are you providing for second stage in four categories?

My eligibility is on 07/02 lol I have already submitted my application and uploaded quite a few documents. We have 3 trips over the past year and got married so a lot happened after 820 granted. But my answers to the 4 questions are very simple...

What are people putting for the development of the relationship since the grant of the 820 visa though? I feel like this is a pretty significant one

Just exactly how the relationship is since then. If nothing has changed, just put not much has changed since the grant of the 820. There's nothing wrong with nothing significant happening in that time, they just want to know you're still in a relationship. Can say we're still living together in our house in (city) and participating in the same activities as before such as (examples). We've done a bit of traveling to here, or we haven't done any traveling since but have tentative plans for the future to go (place) or have no plans because we're still saving up for (house/holiday/visit family overseas/new car, etc).

It doesn't matter what you put, just put whatever is true. So if the relationship hasn't changed since the 820 and you're still doing all the same stuff, then just put that and then a quick explanation of what that stuff is. It's not a make or break statement. They're just looking to hear that basically your relationship has continued. If significant events have happened, then put them. If not, then say that.

Ok, Just worried that I might not be fulfilling that category. We travelled 3 times abroad since the 820 grant and my partner met a lot of my extended family and friends for the first time so I guess I could put that 🙂
