Thanks for replying
Its unusual they ask for interview for second stage. Did you provide enough relationship evidence for second stage?

My hubby and I decided to submit an enquiry form to the department, last month.
And yesterday we received an email requesting our presence for an interview.
Personally I'm really excited about it because we won't be waiting an further and if they'll be asking personal questions about our relationship then we are good to go. Has anyone ever had this experience or any idea what other questions will be asked?

Just noticed today that the 801 processing time has increased again to 20 - 26 months.

I'm wondering if anyone out here with a similar timeline as mine still waiting for theirs? This has been dragging on for too long and today is one of the days that this is really getting to me.....

820 Applied: 07 Aug 2015
820 Granted 07 Dec 2016
801 Applied: 19 Jun 2017
19months since 801 application and counting....

Also, I've supplied the Police Check as the applicant, does my husband also need a police check as the sponsor?

Thanks!

Only 8 months, but I contacted them when I saw this on the IMMI account:
!! Important information
This application requires additional supporting documentation. Please check correspondence and attach the requested documents.

But I haven't been asked for anything, so I asked them to clarify this.

I am hoping we are in the 75% that get completed in 19 months and under.
I seem to have seen quite a few that are done in 12 months or less, and would prefer 12 months

I'm right there with you! My 820 was granted in 7 months. Keeping my fingers crossed that the 801 comes in the same time frame!

That will presumably be the December processing times, which are probably impacted by the holiday period in December, slowing some down.

Global visa processing times are still showing the results for November finalisations of 75% being done in under 19 months. It looks like this has gone to 20 months in the December grants.

Processing times can be affected by us, the applicants, and whether we submit things correctly or not.

I always wonder if ours looks to complex for them to understand, will they put it to one side and do an easier one...
