Accounting, Qhat about you?

I have finished an advanced diploma through TAFE which gives me a year and a half credit in uni and a guaranteed admission. Now in order to complete it I need another year and a half of uni but the tuition for international students are far from reality.
I'm half way through my nursing diploma; will finish it at the end of this year. I was thinking of doing the registered nursing next year once the 801 is approved. But my husband can't wait to be a father. So I might have to put family planning first...

There were 7,035 Permanent Partner visas (801 & 100) finalised in Overseas offices in 2017/18

I had also assumed that all 801's were done in Australia, and the 309's maybe overseas.

Vietnam processed 1,216 Temporary visas (820 & 309) and 403 Permanent Visas (801 & 100) in 2017/18.
It also said vietnam does it applications in an average of 320 days, thats about how long my 820 took There isnt many over the 1 year mark so i wonder where they get 21 months from?

Averages, quick processing areas keep the overall average down. Only takes a small handful over that to keep it bumped up.

Take the two together and Dubai might be the reason for the high average ..

That many? how do you know? Surely they must speed things up, there have been people who applied just after and just before who have had their 801s accepted. Weird!

If you do a search someone last month used a freedom of information request which revealed numbers.
Why would they speed it up? That would then exceed planning levels (unofficial cap)

I applied around the same time as you for both the 820 and 801. I also changed to further assessment a week or so after applying for the 801

How do I see where my case for 801 is being assessed? I'm guessing the best place to be assessed is within Australia?
