Hopefully no one else has overlooked the form if they got married in between 820 and 801.
Hmm, I didn't do one of these, though we did provide all of our marriage certificates and such when we applied for the 801. Now I'm wondering if I need to fill out this form?

I was advised the 801 is granted by 24months after the original application date but after much research it seems no that's your eligibility date to apply for the 801 and it's a further 12months after that.

We are married couple if that makes any difference when we applied.

Timeline

Applied for 820/801 April 2017
Granted 820 August 2018
(Until notified that subclass 801 has been decided or the application is withdrawn)

Thanks
The time varies between applicants, but a well submitted 801 can be granted 9 to 12 months after eligibility date, so effectively 33 to 36 months after the 820 application date. But, some take longer, for various reasons.

You can see our timeline below, as one example. I am aware of others with similar 801 times, but also others who are nearer 24 months after 801 eligibility.

It states clearly on the website. So I am not the only one who didn't fill out the form lol

Congratz on getting yours so fast do you happen to know which office dealt with your application? If you dont know i think its at the bottom of each of the page on your 801 grant letter and the addres swhere your grant was accepted my 820 was Kuala Lumpur :O

Why do you think yours got done so quick?
Were you onshore?
How long have you and your partner been together?
did you upload all required docs when you first submitted?
did you contact them?

I hope mine is quick too as i want to study and become a nurse

Hi there, as you applied a day after me (my eligibility date is Oct the 7th but same as you I applied a month before) can you tell me what your application status is? Also, have you used a migration agent to lodge your 801 or its previous 820?

Last question, as I'm doing it through a migration agent I was told to submit an enquiry in in April to see where it stands. Have you submitted any enquiry yet?

**Not addressed to LadyRogueRayne --Yes, I am aware that a lot of people are waiting longer, however, I do believe that certain people are not well prepared nor provide all required documents prior to submission**

My status is "Further Assessment" and has been since I submitted my documents in September. I have submitted everything except my oldest son's FBI background check (he's now been at Uni in the USA for over 12 months). I'm waiting for his background check, and then once I've uploaded it, I'll send an enquiry form. I've front loaded everything (except his PC from the US of course as it wasn't needed at the time); so hopefully they'll have a look at it once I've sent an enquiry. I also plan to add some more pics, tickets, etc. as evidence from the past few months, just to show the continuing relationship.

Thanks for the quick response. Is the FBI PC a requirement for the 801? I mean I was not asked to provide any police clearance from my birth country.

In regards to the migration agent, have you used it at all? Do you know when you'll enquire?
My satus has been Received ever since haha

I don't have to supply a new PC, but we do for my oldest son, because he has been in the USA for 12 months now, going to University there while we're waiting on the 801 to be processed (it's cheaper for him there). I completed my own applications, but did conference with 2 agents on my 820, as I had to meet Schedule 3 criteria when I applied for the 820. I haven't used an agent for the 801 application. As I said, I'll enquire as soon as my son completes his FBI background check...so within the next month.

My apologies! I've applied for the 820, on Nov 21/18. While I was looking for a processing office location or name on my paperwork I got confused between the 820 and 801 because (and tell me if this makes any sense!) my application says 820 Permanent Partner Visa, then on my invoice/proof of payment it says BS 801. So this is where my confusion came from. Cheers

The 820 is the temporary partner visa. The 801 is the permanent partner visa.

The initial application is for the joint 820/801 application, but primarily relating to the end result of the 801. Hence the receipt for the 801.

The initial upload is basically for the 820, and two years after that date, is the further uploads for the 801 processing.
