Hi there, as you applied a day after me (my eligibility date is Oct the 7th but same as you I applied a month before) can you tell me what your application status is? Also, have you used a migration agent to lodge your 801 or its previous 820?

Last question, as I'm doing it through a migration agent I was told to submit an enquiry in in April to see where it stands. Have you submitted any enquiry yet?

**Not addressed to LadyRogueRayne --Yes, I am aware that a lot of people are waiting longer, however, I do believe that certain people are not well prepared nor provide all required documents prior to submission**
Hi there, just wondering, what sort of questions can be put on the enquiry form? Has your agent told you what information/question to put?

My eligible date for 801 was also in October 2018, haha.

Thank you very much 🙂

Also, a quick question, wondering if anyone knows. If my 820 took a long time to be processed, which was 21 months, will my 801 also take a long time to be approved?

Appreciate your advice in advance 🙂.

Hi, I don't think the processing time of the 820 has any effect on the 801 (I wish though as mine took 3 weeks). In terms of the questions I will put on the enquiry I believe it is more of a letter to push them process it as it is ready. I am not an expert as my agent does it for me and I am giving them the approval, but, I believe she will mention the fact that we lodged a full application and the police checks will expire soon.

Seriously, they do need to make it quicker I mean essentially they are doing the same thing they did in the 820 but two years.

Hi all,
I know this thread is for 801 but am just wondering if you can help regarding Form 1195 Identity declaration, as per to the form, the list of people who can sign this declaration includes Nurse (licensed or registered).
My question does Enrolled Nurse fall under this category?

Thanks in advance and your advice is highly appreciated.

Hi Everyone

Just a quick update on my 801 application.

I emailed to vic.processing team to ask an update about my application beacuse I was way over the timeframe and also used the complaint form and made a complain last week.

In 4 days I got a reply from them and they have requested AFP Police Checks.
I had it ready and I sent it to them straight away now waiting for the outcome...

Can anyone tell me how long would it take for the grant?

Thanks

Hello chelseaspie,

How do you know that your application has been sent to Vietnam? If you don't mind me asking

Do you have to wait until you get the letter from DIBP or can you just submit the application online after the 2 year mark of lodging the 820?

You aren't getting this letter any longer (as far as I know). 24months after you applied for your 820 you have the option to submit the application 801

It can get sent to anywhere and unless they make contact you won't know.
My Thai wife second stage was handled by London.
