I just think if I provide more documents every month then we can reduce processing time.
We didn't update anything other than the docs that we uploaded when we applied the second stage. But if you think you can update it, why not, that'd be much better. We uploaded 30 docs under the applicants and 7 docs under the sponsor.

I don't think you have to. We traveled quite a lot when we were on 820. But don't do medical check-up, unless the case officer ask you to do it.

Yes, we both applied again for Police certificate and uploaded both.

Thanks pretty much for your kind answer mate ^^. I also hope to get the visa soon. It's been almost 6 months since the 801 lodgement so I hope I will get the visa after 11 months like you did.

Hello,

Long time lurker, first time poster!
Thank you for everyone on this forum who has provided information and asked questions, I’ve consulted this forum almost weekly from the lodgement of my first visa to approval!

I thought I’d provide a timeline for those still waiting..

British citizen
Initial lodgement: May 2016
Temp approval: Mar 2017
Permanent lodgement: Aug 2018
Perm approval: Mar 2019

As you can see I was one of the lucky ones with a quick turn around.

I was never contacted to say I had anyone looking at my application, all visa grants were out of the blue.

Applied onsure living in Sydney and moving to Tas before lodging my 801.

Good luck to everyone out there still waiting!!

I would speak with your RMA and ask them for a follow up of your application. They should be able to give you details. I am in the same boat as yourself. We applied April 2017 and have not heard anything either, but we lodged ourselves online.
I sent an email away to IMMI to ask for an update on the process of our application. Maybe you can do the same but through your agent.

Congratulations, I am a bit Jealous hahaha. We have not been contacted by anyone at all, except for a AFP police check from the sponsor. We haven't even been granted the Temporary 820 and have reached the 23 month mark, so quite frustrating to say the least.

Did you apply online or through an RMA?

We applied online ourselves and I was thorough in providing lots of evidence and over that period still been uploading evidence of our relationship and Nada, not a word. :/

I did it all online myself, just with the advice provided in the forum etc

Just keep adding stuff and by the time they come to have a look they’ll have no option but to approve!

Are you applying onsure?

Back in 2014, when visa processing was faster, I saw this comment:
"I applied for onshore partner visa 26 months ago, haven't received any response from immigration due to delay in ASIO security check."

It seems quite common: ASIO Security Check Wait for Pakistani citizen

Thanks for your reply. I will keep uploading information and make sure I cover the 4 categories and get us both to do a stat dec of our relationship again like we did in the beginning.
Yes, we are applying onshore.
