Only if they ask for it, as far as I am aware.

We were asked for it just before we got the 820.

But not for the 801.

form 80
side note me and ex partnter have argued and family voilence conviction in 2016 so she is no longer my sponser so my only concern is the police check that will show conviction . how much it will affect my Visa grant 801 ? thanks
I hope someone here who has more knowledge can give you advise in regards to the family violence conviction that you have. I know that domestic violence is something that Immigration do look at but unsure of the impact. My advise would be to seek advise from a RMA ( Registered Migration Agent ) who will be able to assist you further.

Hey everyone,

I emailed immigration using the online form (about having some details changed as I had submitted forms but they hadn’t been actioned) and they responded the same day (can you believe it?!). They informed me they have changed what they can and that if I let them know in writing (via email is fine) what else it is I want changing then they can do it for me. I responded straight away with what needed updating and I haven’t heard from them since, it also hasn’t been changed on my Immi account. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

I have front loaded everything since June last year and they have obviously looked at my application to change that detail that they have ...but frustrating to be honest.

Thanks everyone.

Hi everyone!
Our timeline is as such:
Applied for PMV: 1 July 2015
PMV granted: 23 Sept 2015 (100 days)
Applied for 820: 15 June 2016
820 granted: 7 July 2016 (~3 weeks)
801 eligibility: 15 June 2018
Applied for 801: 16 June 2018 - complete application
801 granted: Still waiting ... past 9 month mark. We have still been intermittently uploading additional documents every few months (i.e. New bank statements, etc.) Is it really necessary to keep uploading such evidences?

Early March a few weeks ago, we submitted an email to the enquiry link asking if there is anything else required from immigration to assist with their review. Only the standard automated reply was received and nothing else to date. Has anyone ever received any emails from them via the enquire link?

Getting a bit impatient now 🙂

We did the same, by submitting an enquiry (end of January), but heard nothing back, other than the 801 grant about 7 weeks later. (after 9.3 months)

Your PMV application was only 9 days after ours.

Your 801 eligibility date is 1 months after ours, and we got the grant on 20th Feb. It might be close....

Hello,

Your timeline is very similar to ours. We became eligible to apply for the 801 on the 6th of June 2018 and had already uploaded pretty much everything before then. I have been uploading ever since that date also, it doesn’t hurt to continue doing it. I did email immigration and I did get a response but it wasn’t about processing times, I had to get some details changed. I haven’t yet heard from them either (about the grant).

Can I ask where you’re from? I’m from the UK and applied in Queensland in June 2016. (820)

We are from Malaysia, applied in NSW. Our 820 was processed in Sydney.
