That figure of 75% of 801 application are done in under 19 months is actually very consistent with your findings. It means that only 25% had been waiting for 19 months or more.

Your friend that took 5 or 6 months is included in that 75% under 19 months.

The problem with statistics is that the 75% figure is actually very feasible, and in fact is very close to the figures for this forum, even though most are under 12 months.

The official processing figure globally is 19-24.

The same calculation for this forums results (for 2019 grants) comes out at 18-24.

ie: 75% took under 18 months.
But 70% took under 13 months, and 50% took under 11 months.

I've been going through the forum to find 801 grant dates, as few people have updated the 801 spreadsheet recently. Only 4 have done this so far this year, with 22.7 months, 9.4 months and two at 10.0 months each.

From what I have found through the forum, the fastest out of 25 subclass 801 grants so far this year on this forum, that I have found, was 8.6 months.
Half took under 10.6 months and half took over 10.6 months.
The three longest took between 24 and 34 months.

This is likely last time I will look at this forum. Seriously good luck folks. Beware of scammers. And have absolutely fabulous lives.

Hi everyone, yesterday I received an email from Immigration letting me know that I could submit my application for my PR.
I'm a bit lost on what I should upload? Should I only upload proof from when my 820 was approved only or can I cover a bit longer than that? And do we need to provide Police checks and Form 80 again?

Thanks

Supply proof from when your 820 was approved to present. According to the website, if you supplied police checks for the 820, they aren't required for the 801 unless you have spent 12 months or more in a different country since the grant of the 820. That being said, they do sometimes ask for current AFPs, so you can provide them or not. I haven't provided new AFPs with mine, but am providing an FBI check for my oldest son who has been at university in the US for the past 16 months.

No, you won't need another Form 80 unless they specifically ask for it again...however, since you've already supplied it, it's unlikely that they'll ask for another one.

First, Congratulations!! So lovely to see grants coming in.

Second, what years did you apply for the 820 and 801? It's interesting to see how long grants took.

Scroll up to JandE's response concerning visa times. It's a full explanation of how long visa grants take. That being said, no one knows how long it will take for your grant. Best of luck!

Recent 801 grants, from members on this forum, have taken from 8.6 months to 33.1 months.

It is impossible to know for certain how long any will take.

Straightforward cases are normally done faster, with the more complex cases being longer.
