happy friday <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="smile" class="inlineimg" />
first, congratulations!! So lovely to see grants coming in. <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="smile" class="inlineimg" />

second, what years did you apply for the 820 and 801? It's interesting to see how long grants took.

Your friend that took 5 or 6 months is included in that 75% under 19 months.

The problem with statistics is that the 75% figure is actually very feasible, and in fact is very close to the figures for this forum, even though most are under 12 months.

The official processing figure globally is 19-24.

The same calculation for this forums results (for 2019 grants) comes out at 18-24.

ie: 75% took under 18 months.
But 70% took under 13 months, and 50% took under 11 months.

I've been going through the forum to find 801 grant dates, as few people have updated the 801 spreadsheet recently. Only 4 have done this so far this year, with 22.7 months, 9.4 months and two at 10.0 months each.

From what I have found through the forum, the fastest out of 25 subclass 801 grants so far this year on this forum, that I have found, was 8.6 months.
Half took under 10.6 months and half took over 10.6 months.
The three longest took between 24 and 34 months.

Spreadsheet for updating 801 grants:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Thanks for the data. I am more hopeful now. And fingers crossed that my grant will fall under 10.6 months.

Hi JandE,

I hope you read my post

Thanks for spreadsheet!

That’s really a good hassle I appreciate that. Since you have done ao much research i should ask your quick thought about what would be the waiting time 801 if 820 took longer means 23-24 months or less about 8-12 months?
What are the chance in that case? Does 820 waiting time allow us to predict 801 waiting in some percentage?
I would really like to hear from you and anyone else feel free to give your thoughts on it.

Thanks guys
Thanks

I read a post a while ago that usually the fast 820s take longer at 801. Not sure why though. I assume immi has to contact our home countries in both cases, and generally low risk countries will reply faster. Not sure why it would make a difference.

PMV granted: 23 Sept 2015 (100 days)
Applied for 820: 15 June 2016
820 granted: 7 July 2016 (~3 weeks)
801 eligibility: 15 June 2018
Applied for 801: 16 June 2018 - complete application
801 granted: Still waiting ... past 9 month mark. We have still been intermittently uploading additional documents every few months (i.e. New bank statements, etc.) Is it really necessary to keep uploading such evidences?

Early March a few weeks ago, we submitted an email to the enquiry link asking if there is anything else required from immigration to assist with their review. Only the standard automated reply was received and nothing else to date. Has anyone ever received any emails from them via the enquire link?

Getting a bit impatient now &#x1f642;

Has anyone else received an email like this and can tell me if their visa was processed soon after? I initially emailed asking if they suggest I get a new police certificate as mine expires next month.
