Hi guys,

I am currently on 820 visa. Just wondering the wait time for 801 stage, does it start from the date of eligibility which is exact 2 year after the lodgement or from the date when you do your assessment for 801?

As i was eligible in Feb 2019 but I haven’t done it yet. I am 2 months overdue to complete it.

Please give your advise if someone knows about it
Thank you very much

Hi everyone, I'm currently 7 months post eligibility date and submitted my 801 the day before my eligibility date. Received an email from the Department on 21/03/19 asking for more information and submitted it within 4 hours of receiving the email. My application is at "further assessment". Has this happened to anyone else? How long will it usually take for them to reopen my case?

Do you mind sharing exactly which information they asked you for?
Fingers crossed for you, from a fellow a Brit a few months behind you in the process

Wait times for 801 are from date of eligibility. Everyone is in the queue to be assessed once they reach eligibility whether they submit Stage 2 documentation or not.
