Yes, I am a teacher. I can't advance until I have PR as it's specifically stated in the requirements to advance to Senior Teacher and Level 3 Classroom Teacher. Hence, I'm stuck where I am until my PR is finished. I'm not sure what the requirements are in other careers; but, it's specifically stated for teachers here in WA. As for the buying a house, we aren't looking at something over 500K, but the stamp duty makes a difference for us. Either way, it's still not something we want to lose out on. Yes, my husband is a citizen; but as I'm the sole earner right now, we have to go by me, not him. So, though it's frustrating, we have to wait until the 801 is completed. C'est la vie, right? LOL

I got it sorted and uploaded within 4 hours, replied to their email confirming I'd done it and clicked the button to say I've submitted required documents. It's been over a month now so I'm hoping to get my grant soon!

Good luck and fingers crossed you get yours soon!
Ok interesting... Did you ever send an enquiry form to get them to assess your case sooner? Thank you

I'd really appreciate it if you guys in the know could check my current uploads list and tell me what you think. All my form 888s are verified, as is my partners reference. I'm waiting on a police check to come back for myself, will upload that asap.

Note the "further assessment", for whats it's worth (if anything)

I have juust logged into the IMMI account to check if there was any further progress on my application - they have updated the Estimated Processing Time to 20-26 Months for the 801 Application!!

Online via Immi Home Affairs website, it hasn't been updated Since December 2018 and reads 19-24 Months!

Which immi website are you seeing that? The 801 website shows

Processing times

75% of applications: 20 months
90% of applications: 26 month

As does this one. If you search for "partner", you can see the four of them together for comparison.

Assuming that is the latest figure for March visa finalisations, then the recent monthly changes have been:

75% done in under 20 months in Mar 2019, with 10% taking over 26 months.
75% done in under 19 months in Feb 2019, with 10% taking over 24 months.
75% done in under 21 months in Jan 2019, with 10% taking over 26 months.
75% done in under 19 months in Dec 2018, with 10% taking over 26 months.

In July 2018 it was the same with
75% done in under 20 months in Jul 2018, with 10% taking over 26 months.

Not really much of a change.
But breaking that 75% figure down looks much better..

Out of the last 24 subclass 801 grants shown on this forum during 2019:
6 of them took between 8 and 10 months
the next 6 took between 10 and 11 months
the next 6 took between 11 and 14 months
the last 6 took between 14 and 33 months

All of the first 18 were within that 75% group.

I looked at the global site a short while ago, and it was all blank. I think they were updating..

It now shows the figures for March, as at 26/4/19

Again, I got requested for a stat dec the end of Feb, then they fell asleep again, I did email to see how thing goes but no reply. Now I have more photos to attach in case they want and it might wake them up from their sleepy process but I can’t do it for days (could choose the photos or files but button for uploading doesn’t show up. What could I do?

Holy cow! We got a call from Immi today. They called my husband and only asked him if we were still in an ongoing relationship. After he told them "Yes, in fact she's here in the car with me right now," the CO said "Thank you, that's all we needed" and hung up. The call took all of like 2 minutes. Then, right after that, I got an email requesting a State police check for my oldest son since he's been at Uni in the US (we supplied the FBI check but I didn't think about a State check). So, don't lose hope folks!
