Between 8 and 26 months for recents grants.

Sometimes Nationality appears to play a difference, I saw one from the Philippines recently taking 22 months, but then another took only 9 months.
The same for India, one at 9 months but another at 26 months.

Some nationalities are consistently longer though, with all grants at over 20 months.

Hello everyone.

i got my PR today . My partner and I want to offer thanks to Kmahajan1987 for posting the above a few weeks back. I did the same headline ('26 months since lodgement of 801') on our enquiry form and within a few days, my partner got a homeaffairs call then within the hour a grant notification email.
We are so happy and relieved after waiting for so long( 26 months), it hasnt even sunk in yet. I am thankful to God for seeing us through this.

all the best to everyone. To the guys waiting 26+ months, continue following up with immi. Your day will come.

my timeline
applied 820 march 2015
grant 820 april 2016
applied 801 march2017
Grant 801 may2019

I applied for mine 6 weeks early as i thought it was 2 months not one ... oops... everything seems okay so far, seeing as they only look when you hit your eligibility i wouldnt imagine it would cause a problem although i wouldnt suggest doing it if you can avoid it. I was starting a new job and wanted to get everything sorted early !

Congrats!!! I did the same but only auto response received, may i ask what they asked your husband or did they reply you at all? We applied thru agent so not surr if either me or my husband will expect a call soon from them, or they will contact the agent first hand.

Thanks so much for the reassurance! I’m the same I wanted to get sorted and organised!

How long has your application been in?

Congrats all those who have had theirs granted recently!

Thanks They called my partner(sponsor) to ask if the relationship is ongoing. No call to me(applicant). They later sent the visa grant email to my inbox. Everyone's case is different so they might perhaps decide to call both partners to ask questions.

Congratulations! That's so awesome.

I sent an enquiry and they called my husband the next day to ask him the same thing; whether we are still in an ongoing relationship. Then, I got an email response from my enquiry right after the phone call asking for my son to get a State police check (we'd only submitted a FBI check). We submitted the State check in just 6 days. I sent an email back, stating we'd submitted the requested document. Since then, we've heard nothing. It's been a week now since we submitted the requested document. We got so excited; but now it seems to have stalled. Of course, we haven't been waiting as long as the rest of you...but really stinks to see the light at the end of the tunnel, only to be thrown back into limbo. Sigh.

You used to be allowed two months and it recently changed to one month. Seeing how they don't look at it until eligibility, there's no benefit in breaking their one month early rule these days. Wouldn't be worth it to me if they came back and told me to resubmit :/
