Hi. I put my heading as the first statement within the message text box. I put it in capital letters and added a blank space between the heading and message for the heading to stand out.

Obviously this forum is a small sample size, but there seems to be more people get some action by sending an enquiry than not.

Whether that is just coincidental remains to be seen, maybe a masters degree project for someone

But the fact that it does seem to have an effect no matter what the waiting time suggests there are significant problems within the internal workflow visa queuing system.
Yea. i believe my application would still be collecting dust in their system if I hadn't filled out the enquiry form.

Wow! Just love all these grants rolling in. Makes me so happy to see them and makes me smile. So, keep them coming!!

I've sent 2 enquiries over the last month....one to ask if they need anything else and then the 2nd after they contacted me requesting a State PC to let them know I'd submitted what they asked for. Haven't heard anything from them since. Kind of afraid to send another one, because I don't want to harass them. But, also feeling anxious because my oldest son is coming here in a week and will definitely have to go back to the US for school if we don't have the 801. But, if we have the 801, he could transfer to Uni here just in time for the next semester. Don't know what to do. Sigh.

Hey when is the deadline that your son need to transfer to here?
I mean they looked at your application once you stated this reason, if you let them know that you will need 801 in order to transfer your son here and give them specific date that might help?
I was so scared to send them the inquiry before I sent it because I didn't want them to think I harass them but I am glad I did.
If you have time maybe wait for another week or two and send another one. Who knows it may come before that! All my fingers are crossed for you x

PS. my 820 was granted two weeks after the documents they asked were submitted. I felt like I was holding my breaths for two weeks then!

My 801 is granted today out of the blue!!!! I'm so happy!!

I sent an enquiry a month ago to ask about the application. Last night I uploaded our new joint gym membership, photos and up to date joint bank statements and I got the grant today.

I'd like to thank everybody for the help and advice, everything have been extremely helpful. I'm so grateful to be a part of this community.

Below is my timeline:
820: lodged Mar 2016
820 granted May 2017
801: lodged Mar 2018
801 granted May 2018

I waited around 15 months for my 801. I am from Vietnam.

Best of luck to all of you guys, keep hoping and uploading documents regularly. You will get the grant.
