Applied 820: 6 May 2016
Granted 820: 5 Dec 2017
Applied 801 : 27 April 2018
Granted 801: 13+ months waiting ...
Sent 3 emails to them last month about priority processing due to employer asking for PR status, no response yet. They don't care I guess...

How many waiting who lodged 801 between Jan 2018 - June 2018 ?
From this forum, that I have seen so far:
Out of 36 subclass 801's with an eligibility date Jan to June 2018, 33 have been marked as granted between 8 and 16.4 months after eligibility date.
Only 3 have not been marked as granted.
tanparm88 eligible from 06/05/18
Alikiw?? eligible from ??/06/18
Lesliekreipe eligible from 06/06/18

What is your nationality?

I haven’t sent any enquiry either. I just sent today more evidence. Photos, bills, receipts, correspondence, tickets, bank statements from this year. My police check will expire next month...

Its been 6 months since i applied and I was eligible just over 4 weeks after that, I am starting a nursing course soon Its just tafe but its a fantastic start for me, a dream since i was very young! I need to do work experience, but many of these homes wont hire me afterwards as i am not on a permanent partner visa

I wrote to immigration saying something like this

Hello, could you please take a look at my application and see if i am missing any documents, i believe my case is decision ready with 2 888s, supporting letters, joint bills and a police report. I am starting a nursing course in a month and would love to do my placements somewhere I can gain employment afterwards however many homes will not employ someone on a 820 visa.

If you could please let me know if i am missing anything so i casn gather them as soon as possible. Thank you, kind regards ....

Does this sound okay? I really dont want to miss out on some REALLY exciting opportunities I dont expect them to just grant me a visa over everyone else as thats unfair but i really need this and hope this email will help

You can't really predict what will happen after you send email/inquiry. Some people had luck some people don't. When I sent them inquiry I didn't ask for the grant because I didn't have any reason to ask them (work, mortgage or education requirement) so I simply informed them that we will be away to get married in remote destinations and might not be able to check email. Somehow they granted it... maybe because we are getting married? Who know?

I think it is best to get on with other things in life and don't stress so much about the visa. 820 provides the full work right, you might have to look elsewhere to work in the mean time. Hope it comes through soon!

Looking at stats, I believe we should hear something within next 3 months. Fingers crossed. Who gets visa first and who has to wait is a mystery....

Having looked at 801's for India recently; 9.6, 22.4, 26.0, 16.8 and 9.5 months, it does look all over the place.

lets assume 16 months as average, so another 3 months go as we are on 13 months waiting mark.

If you check my most recent posts I shared the exact word for word enquiry that i submitted a week before my 801 was granted last week. I'm also from the UK and Only waited around 4 months (3 from eligible date). It was my first and only enquiry submitted
