I dont understand why theyre so high! weve seen some really quick grants the past few months. and very rarely any near the estimated time.I know were a very small sample. I guess the people more likely to get high waiting times are from high risk countries, and thus are less likely to use a forum like this maybe because its not so common in most high risk countries and language... :S

The times that are quoted should not really be referred to as estimated times, other than as they state: 75% of the previous month were done in x months or less. The current month might be similar.

All those fast grants you mention are in that 75%.

A few difficult applications can push up the official figures even though the majority may be much faster.

10% took OVER 26 months in May.
15% took between 22 and 26 months.
75% took under 22 months with the fastest, that we have seen, taking 1.6 months.
From this forum:
50% were under 14 months.
25% were under 10 months.
The official figures for the above was 22-26.

I have seen 25 subclass 801 grants on this forum in May 2019.
The actual processing times were: 1.6, 3.4, 7.2, 7.5, 9.0, 9.3, 9.5, 10.6, 10.9, 12.6, 12.7, 13.8, 14.4, 14.9, 16.4, 16.8, 20.2, 20.3, 22.2, 25, 26, 26.2, 26.6, 27.0 and 28.9 months.

I got mine shortly after eligibility (not in May though). That's still in the 75%.

From those I have seen so far:
2.7 months from Spain?
4.1 months from UK
7.3 months from Canada
7.9 months from UK
10.7 months from Philippines
11.3 months from Philippines
12.1 months from Ireland
12.7 months from Germany
14.7 months from Vietnam

I notice you are from India, the two grants in May, for India, took 16.8 and 26.0 months, but none that I have seen in June.

27 days is awesome, how did you get it so fast?
When did you get your grant? Did you send in an enquiry?
