I just checked what my daughter did for my wife's 888.
She used front and back of her QLD driver licence.

It was sufficient.

I hope you get the 801 soon. Ours took 9.3 months, hope you beat us..

I'd be over the moon! That will mean the grant would have to come pretty darn soon though. LOL

We also just got our grant this morning! They must have capped their numbers during the financial year and waited until July 1st to start making some grants

We made two enquires and a complaint over the past month. It could be the grant was made because of the timing of the complaint.

Good luck to those still waiting. Your blood sweat and tears will all pay off eventually. The emotional toll of this process is exhausting!

Our timeline

Partner visa applied 01/09/2016
820 granted 23/01/2018
801 granted 01/07/2019
Partner from Brazil

Total 2 years and 10 months to the day
