Congrats on the visa grants! So good to see people getting their PR. I'm hoping to get mine soon; particularly as I just got an invitation to audition for an Aussie show and can't unless my PR comes through. Isn't it crazy how we're in a holding pattern in our lives while waiting on PR? SMH But I keep telling myself, this too shall pass and eventually I'll get that grant!! LOL

Hey, congrats!!

Hi all

Well, after our last update we chased up Form 888s from my mother and grandmother, and I wrote a stat dec about our relationship (I'm the sponsor). I submitted the Form 888s on Friday, and this morning the notification came through that my partner has been granted her 801 visa. Pretty quick once Immi starts looking at it!

820 Submitted: 16 May 2016
820 Granted: 27 September 2017
801 Submitted: 4 July 2018
801 Granted: 5 July 2019

Next stop - citizenship

Good luck to all those still waiting - you'll get there.

Cheers

It is not mentioned as a requirement, but it was requested from us when our application was reviewed. I suspect they asked for it to ensure that our marriage was genuine. If it's requested from you and you are going to have trouble getting it, your best option would probably be to write an explanatory letter, and ask for alternative ways to satisfy the reviewer's requirements.
Hope this helps.

Hey Cassie,

I know it is frustrating as the wait periods atm is too high. I was in a similar situations as you were all i did was keep positive.

Currently the processing time for 801 is 75% of applications: 22 months and 90% of applications: 26 months.

Hi friend, thanks for your encouraging reply with appreciation. yeah the only thing I can do is waiting positively and the queue seems longer and longer by time. We kept updating the joint acc statement, utiliti bills, photos regularly... but I received email from CO to request a full list of information...it's so bizarre...May I know if you were contacted from CO prior to 801 granted? Thanks gain.

I wasn't contacted by the CO at all. I just updated my records every 3 months. I guess i added the social media gathering / outing images from friends and family members which I did not have .

Please update your flag here .

Hi there,
I’ve red some of the posts which people are sending information every 3months such as photos and etc,
1- do you have to send those information or it’s only additional thing to boost the process as I’ve red on immiacount that they’ll ask for info if required,
2- if it’s better to send so what shall we send for them in particular?
I appreciate your help if someone knows
