Can I ask where your wife is from?
Our situation sounds similar, we applied for 820/801 Feb 2017
Our child is an Australian citizen, now our second was born in Australia!
But still waiting

I see most of it on this forum, and just pop the info into a spreadsheet.

I happen to like spreadsheets, and don't work full time anymore, so it keeps my brain working..

Hi, can anyone let me know, whether i still need to submit sponsor and applicant AFP again for my permenant Visa application ? I was once contacted by one of the immi officer to attach our AFP for my temporary visa, which i already submitted on May, 2018

Hey all, first time replying on this forum, but regular stalker 🙂. I'm really anxious to get my 801. Would be a big help for buying a house, which me and my partner are looking to do next year once our current lease expires, as well as applying for jobs etc..

Here's my timeline

Applied 820: 17 October 2016
820 Granted: 21 May 2017
801 Eligibility and Application date: 17 October 2018

Still waiting for 801 but seeing other peoples timelines I'm hoping it'll be soon! Because my 820 came through in 7 months I was hoping the 801 would've had a similar timeline

Also I am from the UK. Wales specifically (woohoo)!

Hey Y’all – I am 1 month away from the 2 year mark of applying for the 820 (already granted), so I’ve started the 801 application in my Immi account accordingly. I’m not at the step of uploading documents yet, because I haven’t submitted the 20+ page online 801 application. Before I hit submit application and it’ll take me to the document upload page I remember from the 820 process, I am confused about an 801 question that asks if it’s been 2 years since the 820. Technically, it’s still a month away, but apparently per Immi email that I can start uploading documents 1 month before, I should answer the question as “yes” it’s been 2 years, so that way I can get to the document uploads. Technically though, it hasn’t quite been 2 years. What did you guys do?
