He told her that's great, because we've made an offer on a house and need the visa to complete the sale. Then, just 10 minutes ago, the grants came into my inbox.

So over the moon!! It's been just over 12 months since submitting everything; and just over 11 months from eligibility.
Happy - tears in eyes for you.

Thank you, Ampk! You and many others on here were great support and offered amazing advice. It was a crazy road, but we made it!! I won't be disappearing...will still be checking the forums for sure. Besides, in another 12 months, it'll be citizenship time.

What I have to do 😞
Still waiting mine.
Applied 820/801 : February 2015
Grant 820 : June 2016
Applied 801: February 2017
Call immigration few times, they said " just wait, my application is on process, not further information needed to be provided"
I'm a bit worry if there's something wrong with my application such as not enough evidence....

If it was that I think they’d just ask for more information. Some of them are just taking ages for not really any reason. Some are granted in 12 ish months, some take ages. Where are you from? High risk countries seek to take longer but others just take longer for no real reason.

You are over the 25 months, and in the last 10% group, so you have a right to enquire. 90% last month were done in under 25 months, with most under 19 months.

Have you uploaded recent relationship evidence. I would do some more and ask at the same time about the delay using the form at https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help...s-enquiry-form

Hi JandE, I haven't uploaded anything after applying 801 which is February 2017. However a months ago I uploaded some evidence which I'll go to travel with my partner and her family in November.
I'm from Hong Kong and sex same couple.

Hey Y’all –

What’s been the average wait on 801 Permanent Partner Visa for y’all recently? I was quoted 19 – 22 months waiting time for the 801, but for the 820 I was quoted the same time period and it took just 5 months for the 820. I’m submitting the 801 decision ready with the AUS police check.

Also, has anybody granted the 801 within the month before the 801 2 year anniversary date (in the 1 month before where Immigration allows you to submit the application and upload all documents)?
