We got a visa!!! About an hour ago. On a Saturday??? doesn’t appear it was processed overseas or yesterday and took a while to email out either as the date says 5th October.
No contact from immigration, but I did upload a PDF with some updated information/pics maybe 2 months ago
820/801 lodged 30 October 2016
820 granted 6th July 2017
801 eligible 30 October 2018, Applied a few weeks later (sorry can’t remember exactly when but some time in November)
Granted 5 October 2019
He’s from the UK

Also got my VISA today.
Haven't uploaded anything for ages but I did send message a few weeks ago saying I wanted to apply internally for a job I was temping at that required residency. I missed the job but I'm still temping there so at least I can apply for the next one. Woohoo!

Overseas trip risk Assessment?

Hi all

I'm in
Stage 2 Permanent Partner Visa Assessment (801)
Family - Stage 2
Further Assessment

The case officer have requested Federal Police Clearance so I have applied for it yesterday.
I'm going back to Vietnam with my husband next month to visit my family (November).
Is it a big risk if going overseas while my visa is in stage 2 with "Further Assessment"?
Thank you

I've just received my 801 visa grant!

820/801: Submitted December 2016
820: Granted December 2017
801 Further Evidence Submitted: December 2018
801 Granted: 5 October 2019

I am from a high-risk country (Ukraine) and received the grant while oversees ( we are doing some long-term travelling).

No contact from immigration at all since the grant of temporary residence, but I've been uploading new evidence every couple of months.

Congratulation AlisaMelbourne

I think I may as well update mine every two months, think that helps.
I've left it out for over 12 months.

Mine sat on further assessment from the day we submitted the information.
Them asking for more information and requesting police check indicates it’s closer but could still be a couple months away. Plus you’re allowed to be out of the country when it’s granted anyway. Think it’s only a risk as I’ve heard if you’re outside the country you can’t appeal if they deny it (unsure if true as sounds weird to me but have heard it somewhere) but unless there’s something particularly different (not Living together, spent AGES, like 6-12 months apart, or anything) I wouldn’t worry about it.
Plus if both of you are going to visit your family that’s a good thing, just give them some pics of you both with your family and it makes a better case 🙂

Wow so many people getting visas today, is really great, congrats everyone, such a relief 🙂

It sounds like your 820 was granted, and they are considering your 801. When did you begin submitting the second stage evidences?
