Hi Lewis2017,

Congratulations! Really happy for you guys.

How did you find out? Did Immi send you an email? Or did you check your immi account? Did the status change in your immi account?
Thanks! Applicant just received grant notice in email. No RFI, phone call to sponsor or any other contact from Immi.

To be honest, haven’t checked status in Immi since grant but also wasn’t one to check this during assessment.

What a journey it has been for you guys! We'll be putting in the 801 next month. Hopefully it will not be a long wait but you just never know.

801 granted : Request for more info 9th Oct 2019

Today we received request from Immi to submit all the 801 evidences again since the grant of 820 visa. Funny thing is everything is uploaded in the Immi account. I am getting a feeling CO didnt even bother to have a look at the file, just requested everything again as if nothing was uploaded. While I have no problem in uploading them again, the documents wont change it will the same docs just uploaded once again. I am very confused if they are requesting for more evidences in addition to the ones already uploaded. We are married now from 4 years, have 2 joint properties here in Australia. I dont know what else they would like to see ?

We have uploaded Marriage certificate (they are asking for it again, its clearly uploaded in the account along with so many docs which they are requesting again), Superannuation nomination, Joint bank statements, Joint mortgage docs, Joint bills, joint lease, holiday tickets & photos, ATO nomination, Social photos etc.
So immi sent you an s56 request for more information which you would have to submit in 28 days.

Clearly they have looked at your file already and (although it sounds like you have already uploaded a lot of evidence) they still want more. Is it really wise to upload the same documentary evidence (which you had submitted previously) all over again?

Maybe you should start a new forum thread for some feedback from other members?

Did you upload it with the 801 application, or just the 820? It seems to be needed for both.

Are all these, that you have uploaded, related to dates after the 820 grant? Or were they the ones done for the 820 part of the application?

The 801 evidences are proof of continuing relationship after the 820 submission, and up to the date of the 801 evidence uploads.

I will try to think of new evidences post 9th Oct request and submit by end of this month. But i will also politely tell them most of the required evidences were already uploaded since grant of 820 visa.

Marriage certificate was uploaded twice for both 820 and 801 application.
Yes all these documents were uploaded post 820 grant from April 2018-Sep 2019. I will try to collect more evidences, write a statement about of our relationship in these 28 days.

It sounds a bit weird. Maybe they didn't look at the file properly.

Did you check your IMMI account to see that everything is there in the 2nd stage section of the application?

I had something similar happen, but I think it was a message on IMMI account, which indicated they were still waiting for something. I sent them a message using the Permanent Partner Enquiry form and asked what they were waiting for. I also clicked on that button in the IMMI account, to say I had uploaded everything. No reply, other than the auto reply, but we got the grant 4 weeks later.

I would suggest using that enquiry form, but also getting it all ready again, for further submission, just in case.

Have you clicked on the button in the immiaccount to say that you have uploaded everything?

Yes i am getting that feeling too. But I am gonna prepare what they have asked for again just in case, submit it and then click on that button. This request created unnecessary delay but what can you do. I just need to find time to do this. Applicant(my wife) is overseas at the moment.

Please update your flag here .

Hello everyone I have just discovered this forum.
I contact my agent and he told me that my 801 visa status is at further assessment at the moment .
We applied for it end of May 2019, eligibility day was April 2019 is there anyone close to that time frame that has granted the visa yet . As I understand that further assessment is the final stage before a decision is made . Or can somebody explain my if I have misunderstood ?
Thank you all for participating in that journey.
