Hello! I just received an email from immigration that I can now proceed to my permanent partner visa but I am eligible to apply next month 08 Nov 2019 which will be my 24months since the 820 application.

My problem is I’ll be away next month going overseas and be back at the end of Nov2019.
Is there any deadline in submitting my 801 application? I hope you could help me with my situation. Thank you and Congratz to all who got there 801. Cheers.

Also, anything new, that shows you as a couple. Joint names on new bills that haven't been uploaded before, etc.
Thank you JandE for your advises, I much appreciate this.
I have been using time stamped photos with GPS location on each photo. Hope this would improve my application

Time stamped photos with GPS location on each photo would have been much easier for me. I'll have to learn about that, even though it's too late now.

But a great idea for others still in the visa process.

Need to see how to set it up.

To the guy wondering about the request for more information, we got this exact message with out 820. It doesn’t mean you need everything on there again but there is likely something they want to see more of.
Ours literally used that exact whole thing and all they wanted were police and health checks. It is intimidating to get all that and you think they want everything but really it’s just a standard ‘I want something’ message. Have you uploaded updates since applying? If not they probably just want an update and you can just upload some photos and if you’ve spent any time apart some messages between you.

We applied for it end of May 2019, eligibility day was April 2019 is there anyone close to that time frame that has granted the visa yet . As I understand that further assessment is the final stage before a decision is made . Or can somebody explain my if I have misunderstood ?
Thank you all for participating in that journey.
My visa (I guess not mine since it’s my partners but feels like mine to cause is ‘ours’) was on ‘further assessment’ from the day we submitted to the day it was granted nearly 12 months later. I think a lot of 801’s are like this. Could mean something but more than likely means nothing. Sorry to kill your hopes 😕
Average wait times at the minute are just under 12 months though so better than whatever they’re currently quoting.

Hello lampshade
Thank you for your message .
I have spoken with my agent and he told me that due to the current situation with the immigration office the average waiting time is 17-24 months . I just hope that if anyone in this forum have submitted the same application around the same time as me and had the visa granted or at least some interest from the office, I can have some hope to be done with my visa journey by the end of the year .!

That 17-24 means 75% took under 17 months and 10% took over 24 months, in the previous month.

Those that take 12 months are in the 17 month category.

Times change each month depending on the applications finalised. More complex ones take longer and cause the time differences.

Here’s a link to a spreadsheet someone here made with recent visa grants and the time they took. Pretty sure all the info just came from this forum so is a small sampling but average wait time is just under 12 months.

Thanks lampshade. Yes we will write an updated statement, give some new/updated evidences and sponsor declaration. We applied 801 in April 2018. Since then we kept on uploading evidences in these last 17 months. I am also gonna say politely all the requested evidences were already uploaded in the system. This created unnecessary delay.

Hi tanparm88, just out of curiosity, how frequently did you keep uploading evidence in these last 17 months? Was it every month?
And when was the last time you uploaded?
